Perth

After dropping your bags, the evening is yours to wander the laneways, check out the local food scene, or just take it easy before things get going with the outback adventure.

Perth
After the hotel picks you up, you'll get a guided tour of Perth covering the business and shopping areas along St. Georges Terrace. Stop by the Perth Mint to see the famous one-tonne Australian Kangaroo gold coin. Then you'll head to the Swan Bells in their 82.5-meter campanile at Barrack Square, and finish at Kings Park where you get those great views over the Swan River before heading back to your hotel.

Geraldton
The drive heads north along the Indian Ocean Drive toward Nambung National Park. You'll see the Pinnacles Desert with its limestone pillars, one of Australia's most photographed spots. From there you'll travel through Jurien Bay and Leeman, then arrive in Geraldton in the afternoon. It's got striking coastal views and you'll see the HMAS Sydney II memorial.

Kalbarri
Today starts with a scenic flight over the Abrolhos Islands, a coral-fringed group of islands with a lot of maritime history. You'll learn about the Batavia shipwreck and the 1629 mutiny. After landing, the route follows the Coral Coast through Port Gregory and heads toward Kalbarri National Park with its rugged cliffs and sea views.

Monkey Mia

Carnarvon
This morning starts with wild dolphins swimming up to the beach for feeding. After that, you'll visit Shell Beach, which is formed entirely of tiny white cockle shells. Then Hamelin Pool has living Stromatolites, some of the oldest lifeforms on Earth. The route heads inland through red earth landscapes to Carnarvon, an outback coastal hub.

Exmouth
