- Day 1
Guatemala City to Antigua
You'll arrive at Guatemala City Airport and get transferred to Antigua, the colonial heart of the region. Once you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. The cobbled streets here have this wonderful mix of pastel-colored buildings and flowering balconies, and there's plenty to see if you just start walking around. You'll come across local markets filled with crafts and goods, plus historic architecture at nearly every corner. By evening, find yourself a local restaurant for dinner and get a feel for how things operate in this smaller, more relaxed city compared to the capital.

Landmarks Antigua 
- Day 2
Pacaya Volcano Trek
You'll leave Antigua at 2pm heading toward Pacaya Volcano. The trek up takes roughly two hours and winds through green landscapes before you reach the summit around 75°F/24°C. Once there, you're standing on volcanic rock that looks almost otherworldly, and depending on current volcanic activity, you might see glowing magma. The views stretch across to three other volcanoes—Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango—which makes for incredible sightseeing. After spending time at the top, you'll head back down and return to Antigua for the evening.

Departure from Antigua
Your last morning in Antigua gives you time to have breakfast somewhere nice or take one more walk through the streets before you head out. It's a good chance to catch anything you might have missed or just sit with the experience of these colonial streets and the volcanic landscapes you've covered. Then you'll continue on with your onward journey.
