Completing a 3-week tour in Australia at that level of difficulty is very impressive. As our team mentioned previously, we are more than happy to make an exception and waive the age limit for your specific departure date so that you can proceed with the booking.

We'll be in Costa Rica from Dec.23.2025 to Jan. 2nd 2026, and we are reviewing several tour options, and your itinerary is one we are seriously considering. Before we finalize our booking from our list, we want to ask if there is any flexibility in the rate, as the accommodations included are 3-star while the overall pricing is on the higher end. Please let us know if there are any adjustments or options you could offer.

We were expecting another group tour, so were a little surprised by the fact that there was no group, no tour guide per see and no coach. However , we loved the service we received, the one on one help and attention. It was so powerful to arrive at the second island in the Galapagos and trying to put my bags out of the water taxi, from a ferry, and having somebody say, "Hi Cyra, welcome, your taxi is waiting.".Everybody was on time, it was organized and coordinated. It was a great price, a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Thank you.Show more

I gave this 4 stars because the entire Galapagos experience is so amazing. However, this tour is misrepresented as one of the other reviewers noted. Our 9-day tour was presented to us as "Fully Guided - An experienced guide will be with you for the entire trip." It also states that you will join this small group "and forge lifelong friendships." My husband and I had just finished a fully-guided small group tour (with a different tour company) through Ecuador mainland and we truly did have a guide with us 24/7 and we had a small group of 16 people that we traveled with for 8 days. This is NOT that type of tour. My husband & I were the only 2 on this 'tour' - which really isn't a tour but rather a guide in each island is responsible for explaining to you what to expect for those 1-2 days and may help you get to those tours/ferries/etc for which the operator made the reservations for. Some guides were excellent and helped us navigate airports, ferry lines, and tour boats. Others we saw 5-10 minutes upon arrival at the island and were told to ask the hotel lobby staff if we had any questions during our stay. Others sent a taxi driver - whom typically didn't speak English. This is definitely not a fully guided tour. You spend a lot of time on your own - which worked OK for us but certainly not what we expected.Show more

  To help us better understand the value, may we ask what factors are driving the higher overall rate, given that the accommodations compared with other programs we've seen that include 4-star hotels?

  Hotels are 3+ (much higher than 3 * standard ) as you can see in photos, these ones are good value places. At this program we combine much more on same travel lenght if we compare to other tours. Again december is peak season so availabilty will be modify soon, so if you are looking for this program or similar, I strongly recommend you to act soon otherwise is a risk of not being able to offer it on requested dates. I also recommend you to review all listed hotels online to have a better idea of them.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with GUIDEcuador Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and GUIDEcuador Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
