Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive in Iceland and take the Flybus transfer from the airport to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of your day is open for you to wander around Reykjavik at your own pace. Your guide, who specializes in solar eclipse astronomy, will meet up with you to go over what's coming during the tour.

- Day 2
Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik
After breakfast, you'll head out to the Reykjanes Peninsula with stops at Gunnuhver (Iceland's largest mud pool), Brimketill (a lava rock pool), and the geothermal area around Krysuvik. Then you'll see the Bridge Between Continents where you can actually stand between two tectonic plates. Later in the afternoon, you'll relax at the Blue Lagoon before driving back to Reykjavik for a quick city tour that hits Hallgrimskirkja church and the Harpa Concert Hall. Your evening is free to do as you like.

- Day 3
Total Solar Eclipse
You've got the morning and early afternoon free in Reykjavik, so you could take a whale watching cruise or check out shops along Laugavegur street. At 4 PM, your guide picks you up and heads to the coast for the main event. You'll experience total eclipse from 5:48 PM to 5:49 PM when the moon completely blocks the sun, and eclipse glasses are provided. After it wraps up at 6:47 PM, you're welcome to join the group for dinner and celebration back in Reykjavik if you'd like.

- Day 4
Geysir - Thingvellir National Park - Reykjavik
You'll leave Reykjavik early for the Golden Circle. First comes Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most well-known waterfalls, then Geysir where Strokkur geyser shoots boiling water over 80 feet up every 5-7 minutes. Lunch is included and cooked using hot spring heat, with bread, butter, boiled eggs, local herring, and ice cream. The day finishes at Thingvellir National Park (a UNESCO site) where you can see the Mid-Atlantic Rift and Thingvallavatn lake. By evening, you're back in Reykjavik with nothing scheduled.

Your last morning in Iceland is completely open. Later, the Flybus transfer picks you up and takes you to the airport for your flight home.
