You'll land in Stone Town with the evening open, so take your time settling into your accommodation. Wander around the narrow streets on your own if you feel like it, or simply relax after traveling. The old town has plenty of cafes and shops if you want to grab dinner and get a feel for the place before tomorrow's organized activities.

Stone Town
This morning you'll join a guided tour through Stone Town's historic sites, walking through the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Your guide will show you the significant buildings and explain the cultural heritage that makes this place so important. By the end of the tour, you'll have a solid understanding of the town's history and architecture.

Prison Island
After breakfast, head out on a boat to Prison Island where you can see the giant tortoises up close. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes from Stone Town. You'll spend time on the island before returning and preparing for your departure later that day.
