- Day 1
Istanbul
You'll arrive at Istanbul Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Sultanahmet, the historic heart of the city. The rest of the day is yours to wander the old streets, see the centuries-old buildings, or just settle in and rest before things get going.

Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll take a guided tour through Istanbul's Old City where Byzantine and Ottoman history are all around you. The day includes Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque with its famous tiles, the Hippodrome, and the winding Grand Bazaar. Back at your hotel by evening, with the option to do something or just relax.

Istanbul to Cappadocia
You'll check out after breakfast and head to the airport for a 1 hour 20 minute flight to Cappadocia. Once you arrive, a transfer takes you to your cave hotel. Spend the rest of the day settling in and taking it easy.

Cappadocia
Start early with an optional hot air balloon ride at dawn, floating over the fairy chimneys and valleys as the sun comes up. After breakfast, join a guided tour through Devrent Valley's rock formations, Pasabag's fairy chimneys, the pottery town of Avanos, an ancient underground city, and the frescoed cave churches at Göreme Open-Air Museum. The evening is free to do as you like.

Cappadocia to Samsun
Check out after breakfast and start a scenic drive toward Samsun on the Black Sea coast. You'll watch the landscape shift from rugged central Anatolian valleys to green valleys and eventually reach the coast. Check into your 5-star hotel and spend the evening on the beach.

Samsun to Trabzon

Trabzon
You'll head out to see what the Pontic Mountains offer, where nature and history come together. The day includes the dramatic Sumela Monastery built into a cliff with forests all around it, a drive through scenic Zigana Mountain with mountain village views, and time at Karaca Cave to see the colorful stalactites. Return to your hotel with the evening free.

Trabzon to Rize/Ayder Plateau
After breakfast, you'll check out and see the 13th-century Byzantine frescoes at Hagia Sophia of Trabzon, then head to Uzungöl, an alpine lake surrounded by forests and wooden houses. Visit a tea plantation in Rize to try fresh Black Sea tea, have lunch at Uzungöl, and then move on to the Ayder Plateau for the night.

You'll explore the Black Sea region with its green landscapes and traditional villages. The day includes Fırtına Valley and the Ayder Plateau, stops in villages like Çamlıhemşin and Konaklar with their stone bridges and wooden houses, the medieval Zilkale fortress on a cliff, and a trek to Goksu Falls, the region's highest waterfall. You'll be back at your place by evening with time to spare.
