    Yes the luggage stays but the Drivers assist during the transfers.
    On the trains, you will have the custody of the luggage.

    What do you mean with the luggage stays? Do we take it on and off the train and train station ourselves but the driver takes it in and off the bus? Are the trains 1st or 2nd class?

    Yes, the Luggage needs to be handled by guests themselves, On and off the trains.
    Drivers assist with it taking in and off the transfer Vans.
    Trains are 2nd class, Upgradable as a pack $149 per person to first class.

    You would need either an additional night in Lucerne for a great day trip which will be a combination of Boat, Oldest train ride in Switzerland and a Cable car to the summit, a short hike and some breathtaking scenery to admire.
    These are small group tours, you need not book anything yourself. Already well researched and most times travelled by our own product team and sales team members.

    Is it possible to add a day in Interlaken to go up to Mt. Rigi or is this trip as is? After we have upgraded to 1st class train tickets, is it possible to book excellent class, should it become available?

    The complimentary 1st Class train offer is currently not available. It can now be arranged with a supplement of USD 149 per person (we will recheck at the time of booking if it can be waived, but this cannot be guaranteed). An upgrade to Excellent Class may also be possible, subject to availability and applicable supplement.
    
    We can offer 4-star hotels on a complimentary basis; however, this offer is also subject to availability, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.
    
    It is possible to add an extra day in Interlaken with a supplement.

    Yes, this includes the actual Bernina Express and Glacier Express trains. Also, a full-day guided tour to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe," is already included in this tour.

  Can you please tell me whether the Bernina express and the Glacier express are 2nd or 1st class and if 2nd class, how much would an upgrade be?     It is based on 2nd class but we will book it to a 1st Class Complimentary for you but they have very limited availability in 1st class.

    In 1st class we prefer the seats on the Glacier express that are single and opposite to each other if possible. Is this a group tour or an individual tour? Will there be anyone to point out where the hotel is and/or to collect the luggage when you get off the train?

    We cannot guarantee seats opposite each other, but we will certainly place a request for the same.
    This is a small group tour, with a group size of approximately 10–15 people.
    Yes, the hotels will be within walking distance of the train station.
    If the distance exceeds 900 meters, we will arrange transfers for you.
    Also you will be connected with us through Whatsapp 27*7 while on the tour.

    As my colleague Ronnie advised earlier, the trains are based on 2nd class. However, we will upgrade your booking to 1st class on a complimentary basis, subject to availability, as there is very limited space. The sooner you confirm the booking, the higher the chances of securing it.
    
    The hotels provided are 3-star; however, if you confirm the booking within this week, we will upgrade you to 4-star hotels on a complimentary basis. Porterage will need to be taken care of by yourself.

    Just to be clear, is this is a group tour or is a DIY tour with someone waiting at the platform to take you to your hotel? The trip to the Jungfraujoch is a guided tour, but for the rest there is no group, you are on your own, is that correct?

    This is a group tour, obviously depending on how many guests join on this date. the tour is marketed in 5 English speaking countries and is sold by other travel companies in those countries too. Its also a guaranteed departure.
    
    The person will not be waiting on the platform but outside the station to take you to the hotels and bring you to the station at the time of departure. Jungfrau needs a specialist guide accompanying you so yes you will have one with all the entrances. Rest of the tour runs with all the people who subscribe for the full tour on the specific date.

    What's holding me back is not having a definite answer from the other company whom I had already paid for a trip, but as it wasn't exactly what I wanted and they said they were flexible they are now trying to make it so that I do like it. I do like your itinerary better, but yours is about AUD2000 pp more expensive than the other one, which is holding me back too. However, if that meant the upgrade to 1st class trains and 4 star hotels is included rather than added on top of your itinerary, than that makes yours more attractive, especially if you can fit in a trip to Mt Rigi, so please let me know what is included and when that special finishes.

    We'd be happy to offer a complimentary upgrade to 4-star hotels as part of your tour.
    Unfortunately, the 1st class train upgrade can't be included on a complimentary basis. We've rechecked with the rail provider, and these upgrades come at a fixed additional cost. The promotional offer we had running back in March has now ended, as previously communicated.
    
    A trip to Mt. Rigi can absolutely be added to your itinerary. This would be at a supplementary cost, and we can tailor it to fit smoothly into your schedule. We would just need your exact travel dates to confirm pricing — I can assure you it will be very competitive.
    
    I understand the price difference is an important factor, but we truly believe the overall experience, inclusions, and especially our on-the-go instant chat service add significant value. It's a great support tool while you're travelling.

  What might I miss out on if I chose to go in October instead of September? I would love to see the autumn full colours but if there's something in particular I might be missing out on due to choosing this time then I may wish to look at October instead of September. I don't mind missing out on hiking cause that was mentioned in the auto chat because I won't be hiking but if there was something scenic of a mountain that I might be missing out on due to choosing October and then I would like to know about it so I can make the choice of what I would prefer September or October.

    If your priority is autumn colours and relaxed sightseeing, October is a lovely choice. You can enjoy beautiful fall colours, especially in the lower valleys and around the lakes. There are also fewer tourists at this time, creating a quieter atmosphere, with stunning scenery around areas such as Lake Lucerne and Lake Geneva. For guaranteed mountain access and clearer alpine views, early October is generally a safer option than late October.

    September is an excellent month to travel, offering favorable weather conditions and pleasant sightseeing experiences.
    The group size for this tour ranges from 2 to 10 passengers.
    
    Additionally, it is not possible to travel from Switzerland to Iceland entirely by train.

    Partially guided means that the guide will be available only during the excursions. The maximum size group is 10. Yes you do visit Zermatt which is a Carless region.     The best time to travel to Switzerland is generally May through September or October, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing. If you're specifically interested in winter activities, then December or January can also be a great option.
