Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangalore to Hassan
A driver picks you up from your Bangalore hotel and takes you to Shravanabelagola, where you'll climb roughly 600 steps up to the hilltop temple with the famous Gomateshwara statue. The views from the top are worth the effort. After that, you head to Hassan and settle into your hotel near a coffee estate. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit Shettihalli Rosary Church sitting by the lake. During monsoon season it gets partially submerged in water, which creates interesting photo spots.

Hassan to Kabini
After breakfast, you drive to Belur to see Chennakeshava Temple, which has intricate carvings showing Hindu mythology throughout. From there, you head to Halebid to check out Hoysaleswara Temple, a significant example of Hoysala architecture. The area has several other temples worth seeing too: Kadareswara Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Koravangala Temple, Lakshmi Devi Temple, and you'll also pass Hulikere Pond. In the afternoon, you drive toward Kabini and Nagarhole National Park, check into your hotel, and have dinner.

- Day 3
Nagarhole National Park Safari
Starting early, you go on a jeep safari through Nagarhole National Park looking for wildlife like Bengal tigers, leopards, elephants, Indian wild dogs, and sambar deer. What you see depends on luck and the season. Back at the hotel, you'll have breakfast and some free time to rest. After lunch, you get on a boat safari along the Kabini River to spot aquatic birds, crocodiles, and other animals from the water. The evening is yours to relax and think back on what you saw.

Kabini to Bangalore
You start with breakfast and then drive back toward Bangalore, stopping in Mysore for a quick city tour. You'll visit Mysore Palace to see its grand Indo-Saracenic architecture. From there, you head to Chamundi Hills and Chamundeshwari Temple for views across the city. St. Philomena's Church is another stop, a beautiful neo-Gothic building. Then you continue on to Bangalore and arrive by evening for your hotel or airport drop-off, which wraps up your trip.
