Itinerary
- Day 1
Bagdogra to Gangtok
You'll land at Bagdogra airport and head straight to Gangtok, settling into your hotel. Once you've gotten comfortable, make your way to Tashi View Point where the Kanchenjunga range spreads out across the horizon. From there, it's on to Rumtek Monastery to see the Tibetan Buddhist traditions up close. By evening, take a walk down MG Marg browsing the shops and grabbing a bite at one of the cafes before heading back to rest.

Gangtok
After breakfast you'll spend the full day hitting Gangtok's cultural spots. Start at Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok, both perched on hilltops with nice temple grounds and views. Next you'll check out the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about local craftsmanship and Buddhist history. Stop by Do Drul Chorten to see the prayer wheels, then wrap up at Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park for some time in nature before returning to your hotel.

Gangtok to Kalimpong
You'll drive to Kalimpong and check into your hotel, then take some time to settle in. After that, head to Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery on Durpin Hill for views over the valley. Make your way to Mangal Dham Temple and Pine View Nursery with its collection of rare cacti. Dr. Graham's Homes Complex comes next if you want to see the colonial architecture. Finish at Delo Hill where Mt. Kanchenjunga comes into view before heading back to your hotel for the night.

Kalimpong to Darjeeling
After breakfast you'll drive through rolling tea gardens and forests toward Darjeeling, passing through hilltop villages along the way. Once you arrive, check into your tea bungalow and then walk out into the tea gardens to get a feel for the peaceful estates Darjeeling's known for. The evening is yours to relax at your accommodation or explore nearby at your own pace.

- Day 5
Darjeeling
If you're up for it, head out around 4:00 AM to Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise hitting the Kanchenjunga peaks, then come back for breakfast. Later in the morning, go to Batasia Loop for valley views and its war memorial, then walk through Ghoom Monastery. The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Darjeeling Zoo show off rare wildlife of the region. In the afternoon, stroll through a tea garden and finish at the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda for a quieter moment before evening.

Grab breakfast before your transfer to Bagdogra airport, though timing depends on your flight. Your driver will get you there for your flight home or wherever you're headed next.
