Cruise Embarkation
You'll board your river cruise ship at 6:00 p.m. and head to your cabin to get settled. The crew hosts a welcome cocktail where you can meet other passengers, and then dinner is served on board as your journey begins down the river.

Villefranche - Beaujeu - Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration
Starting this morning, you'll cruise the Saône River and then travel to Beaujeu for a wine tasting competition and tour of the medieval Beaujolais capital. Later in the evening, there's a cabaret with regional cuisine, and at midnight you'll join a torch-lit procession celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau Day with fireworks before heading back to the ship.

Cluny Abbey - Beaujolais Wine Route
You'll arrive in Mâcon early in the morning and have breakfast on board. Then you'll visit the partial ruins of Cluny Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery with Romanesque architecture. In the afternoon, a guided tour takes you through the Beaujolais Wine Route, where you'll see prestigious vineyards and the Roche de Solutré before stopping at Hameau DuBoeuf, a theme park focused on French winemaking.

Early morning brings you to Chalon-sur-Saône, where you'll take a guided excursion to Beaune, a wine city surrounded by ramparts. You'll visit the Hospices de Beaune with its distinctive glazed tile roof and enjoy a wine tasting there. After sailing on the Saône in the afternoon, a gala evening is held on board.

Cruise End
