Arrival
You'll land at either Tivat or Podgorica Airport and pick up your rental car. From there, drive to Kotor and check into your hotel for a 4-night stay. It's a straightforward transfer day to get you settled in this coastal town.

Kotor
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then you have options. Walk through the Old Town of Kotor with its medieval walls, or head up the city walls themselves. The town's a UNESCO World Heritage Site with layers of history - Illyrian-Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, French, and Austro-Hungarian all left their mark here.

Landmarks Old Town of Kotor - Day 3
Perast - Porto Montenegro
After breakfast, take the optional boat tour called 'The Jewels of Boka Bay'. You'll explore Kotor's old town and its historic squares, churches, and palaces. From there, head by boat to the small baroque town of Perast and visit the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. Later in the afternoon, check out Porto Montenegro, a major Mediterranean mega-yacht marina, before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 4
Cetinje - Lovcen National Park
You'll have breakfast at the hotel and can optionally explore Budva's Old Town, one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic. Then move on to Cetinje, the former capital, and see King Nicola's museum. Drive up to Lovcen National Park's peak to visit the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic Njegos with panoramic views of Boka Bay. The return route takes you through Njegusi village via the famous 25 serpentine curves with great coastal views.

Kotor to Virpazar
Finish breakfast and check out, then transfer to Virpazar for a 3-night stay. Your afternoon is open to relax or take a bicycle tour through the countryside around Skadar Lake. You'll ride through chestnut woods, pass island monasteries, and cycle through old villages while taking in lake views.

Landmarks Skadar Lake - Day 6
Skadar Lake
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then take an optional two-hour boat tour on Skadar Lake, Europe's largest lake in southeastern Europe. You'll travel to Vranjina village and see Lesendro fortress. During the tour, you're served traditional Montenegrin priganice with honey and cheese while watching the surrounding mountains and water lilies.

Either explore Podgorica, the capital city in the central plateau with its rich history and cultural attractions, or head to Bar's Old Town in the hills above the coast to see its ruined architecture and the ancient olive tree, over 2,000 years old and considered Europe's oldest.
