  Can you please let me know if we would be able to book an extra nights accomodation at the start and completion of the tour (Saturday 13th and the Thursday 18th February) preferably using the same hotel or is it easier for us to book ourselves into another city hotel?

    Yes you can add both pre and post night to the tour. The price for each extra night in a double room is 92 EUR per person.

    On day 2 the group is staying just outside the village Vík, on the South Coast, and if the cloud and northern lights forcast is favorable the guide takes the group out to see the northern lights. If they do not see any northern lights they will try again on day 3. We are never able to guarantee that the norther lights will be visible, since cloud coverage and weather can affect that.

    The age of 12 is only a guideline, it is no problem to book this tour for an 11-year-old. The child does have to share a hotel room with an adult.

  I'm a solo female traveller interested in Iceland tours. I'm looking for 3 to 5 days based out of Reykjavik, flexible across May to September 2025. Activities of interest: - Reykjavik city walking tour - Golden Circle - South Coast with Diamond Beach - Thingvellir National Park - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon (including boat tour if available) - Whale watching Activity restrictions: No hiking, trekking, or river rafting.     You can book an airport transfer with Flybus w. return, the price per person is 70 EUR. When booking the tour it is an option to add this to the booking.

    A Bus is scheduled to depart 35 to 45 minutes after every arrival. All Flybus tickets are flexible on the date, simply depart at a time most convenient for you. The buses depart just outside of the arrival hall at the airport.

    The main goal of the trip is to propose under the Northern Lights. However, I know that a Northern Lights viewing is not guaranteed, so I will put a backup plan in place. It would be ideal if it could be a private tour, I mean, just the two of us, but I know that this particular tour is a group tour, so I don't know if that is possible? Otherwise, just making the moment private in some way would be great, maybe pulling us two away from the rest of the group at some point during the Northern Lights part of the tour to "discuss something."

    It is not possible to have a private Northern Lights tour for just the two of you, since this is a group tour. The guide is able to help make this a bit more personal by pulling you two a bit away from the group, but he will of course have to keep in mind that this is a group tour. We could check with the hotel if they could prepare a small "congratulation on your engagement welcoming" in your hotel room, free of charge, when you come back from the Northern Lights tour.
