What is the cost of optional excursions during the month of December 2026

The cost of the optional activities is the same for all tour dates on the Northern Lights Hunt Tour for the season of 2026-2027. Crystal Blue Ice Cave Tour -> 123 EUR per person Comfort admission at the Blue Lagoon -> 101 EUR per person Airport shuttle transfer with Flybus (return) -> 70 EUR per person

Why would I want to book 3 rooms when we are 2 adults and a child? This is my question if you clarify we need one room only. Are kids not allowed in this your?

The quote is for 1 room for 3 people. 3 rooms would be much more expensive. The quote already set up is the correct one. For this tour we do not generally have people with kids this young. Our normal age limit is around 4/5 years old but we do not get any discount from the hotels for kids.

I am traveling to Iceland in September. I arrive on September 8, 2027. Although the ship is staying overnight (the 8th and 9th), I am willing to disembark that day if necessary. I am available for a period of 4 or 5 days. I understand that you offer multi-day packages, but I am not sure if you have any available for those specific dates.

We do have a tour available from the 9th - 13th September 2027. You can see all available dates for this tour on the tour page.

If we landed on 10/15 at 8:50AM, would we get to the hotel in time for the start of the tour? Also, if our departure is 12PM on the 19th from Reykjavík, will we be back in time to get to the airport?

Day 1, 15th Oct, is for arriving in Iceland with the night staying in Reykjavík. The bus tour starts on Day 2, 16th Oct, so you will be picked up from the hotel in Reykjavík around 8:45 on that day. The tour coming back to Reykjavík on Day 4, 18th Oct, and stay the night in Reykjavík. Day 5, 19th Oct, check out of hotel and travel to the airport.

If the hotels are changed, would they be of the same quality? My only other additional activites for two separate days are the Sky Lagoon and Snaefellnes Peninsula. If you know of daytrips there other than with Get Your Guide, please let me know. I am traveling solo.

The hotel in Reykjavík on the tour starting on the 1st of October is Storm Hotel and in Vík it is Katla Hotel. Day 1 and 5 are arrival and departure day so there are no activities planed then, you are therefor free to plan those days as you would like. If your flights are on either of those days it might be a problem for you to try and go on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula Tour, since that is a very long day tour.

We do have availability on our tour starting on 1st of Nov ending on the 5th of Nov. If you are interested in only joining the tour without the nights in Reykjavík we do also offer the 3-day version, and we also have the availability for this on 2nd of Nov to the 4th of Nov.

Is it possible to include a visit to Sky Lagoon, and at what cost?

Sky Lagoon is not included or part of the package. If they want to go to the Sky Lagoon, the best solution would be to add an airport transfer, which can be a return ticket or just one way, and then we can add a 2-hour stop at the Sky Lagoon to either the arrival or departure transfer. Admission to the Sky lagoon: Private Changing rooms 133 EUR, Public Changing rooms 110 EUR (there are private showers) 340 EUR for a private airport transfer (arrival and departure transfer) adding a 2 hour stop at the sky lagoon is 125 EUR.

If my clients wanted to extend their trip after the tour ended and spend more time in Iceland, would they still be able to leverage the included airport transfer on their final day?

We can book the airport transfer on any date and to most hotels or nearest bus stop. There is no included airport transfer however, this is an optional extra for an additional cost.

Is it possible to modify this tour and add extra nights of accommodation? Can the itinerary be extended or customized?

Is it possible to add a whale watching tour?

We spent this vacation for Northen lights but failed. If you plan to go to Iceland, go without any tour. Firstly, I must compliment your excellent communication with all my queries prior to the tour, and I had many ! The actual itinerary was also excellent however we considered it really is a 3 day tour, not 5. A suggestion would be to have a meet and greet the night before the tour (which is called day 1) so that you could introduce yourselves to the other travellers. I must say it’s the only tour I’ve ever been on and I could not tell you even one persons name at the end. Although the driver/tour guide was knowledgeable, there was little interaction with the travellers and no encouragement for people to interact with each other which was slightly disappointing. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the Snaeland Travel were easy to deal with.Show more
