Day 1
Tirana to Podgorica
Your driver picks you up in Tirana early morning and you'll head toward Podgorica in a private vehicle. The route takes you through some nice countryside, passing by the Buna River and Velipoja Protected Landscape where you get views of the natural surroundings. If you want to break up the drive, there's an option to stop in Shkodra and spend some time at Skadra Lake before continuing on. The whole schedule works around what suits you best, so timing and stops are totally flexible based on your preferences.

I had a great time. On this type of trips, everything stands or falls with the guide. I can only speak highly of Xhulio, who did not only perform an excellent job, but his erudition about the Balkan history, it’s political, socio-economical, cultural situation and all sort of issues was simply overwhelming. The result was that we did chat and laugh and shared opinions, points of view and emotions the whole trip, thus killing time on long distances in a very enjoyable way. Grazie mille! Wim

Excellent. Maximum use of time - 12 to 14 hour days -- for each of the 3 expensive days was ideal for me. Tour guide / driver was courteous to clients and 3rd parties. Cleverly accommodated the three mobile, younger clients and the 2 slower, older clients during walking tours. Very knowledgeable guide -- took us on a better walking tour of Orchid than a previous tour that I took with another tour company a week earlier.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 35% is required to confirm your booking with Go as Local . The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
