- Day 2
Chenonceau - Chambord - Limoges
After a morning walk through Amboise, visit Château du Clos Lucé where Leonardo da Vinci lived out his final years. Head over to Château de Chenonceau, built right across the river (your ticket's included). Then tackle Chambord, the Loire Valley's largest castle, and you'll have access to the park. Later, travel into central France to Limoges and walk through the historic center to see Saint Etienne Cathedral.

This morning, head to Padirac Chasm where you'll take a boat ride 75 meters underground. Then travel to Collonges-la-Rouge, a village built with red stone on the Way of St. James. After lunch, continue to Saint-Emilion in the Bordeaux wine region for a walk around town. You'll reach Bordeaux by evening.

Lourdes
Spend your day in Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting the famous Water Mirror and wandering through the historic old town with its pedestrian streets and 11th-century cathedral. You'll have free time to stroll along the Garonne River banks and find lunch at one of the riverside restaurants.
