Do you have a tour which, apart from Totally Iceland in 7 days, also visits Fjáðrárglúfur, Vestrahorn, Dettifoss, Landmannalaugar, Hengifos, Stokknes, Hverir, Snaffelsness peninsula Lava fields, Hraunfossar? If not, what could you advise me to do?

We don't have any tours that visits all of these places but here are some tours that you might like: South-Iceland-Summer-explorer-6-days This tour goes to Landmannalaugar, as well as the South coast & Westman Islands. Northern-Lights-Exploration-8-days This tour stops at Hraunfossar and Snæfellsnes Peninsula, along with touring the Golden Circle and the South Coast all the way to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Iceland-Circle-8-Days Iceland Circle travels around the ring road visiting some of the country's most attractive destinations, including Hverir and other nature pearls around the Mývatn Lake area, Dettifoss (June – August) and more.

My friend and I were looking at the totally Iceland trip. it looks like it's a lot of driving each day and not a lot of physical activity? I was really looking for daily hikes of at least 5 miles

You are right there is not going to be much hiking on the Totally Iceland as it is more of a sightseeing tour. You may prefer our Laugavegur Trail Trek - 6 days which is currently 20% off all departures. August 2nd is sold out but I have daily departures from August 4-14th currently available.

The itinerary includes a good mix of attractions and sights. It would well received to spend a half day in Akeyuri being able to explore the town and its attractions. It was so difficult to get an appreciation for the towns in which we stopped every night as we arrived almost always after nightfall. Regarding meals on the tour, Iceland is overall very expensive so it would be appreciated to be informed prior to getting g to accommodation if there is nowhere nearby to buy food if the only option to buy dinner is at the accommodation. It is just not viable to purchase a burger for dinner at $50 AUD. A short stop at a supermarket to purchase a drink and a sandwich would be very welcome. The tour guide - it would have been great to have a guide that was more interactive with the towers, someone who gave more information about the history, sights and attractions visited on the tour. Special mention to Thor for his outstanding driving skills in some hairy situations. Overall, very happy with the tour inclusions.Show more

  We use a mix of 2-3 star hotels for this tour. They are clean and comfortable properties, but because they are remote, they don't have a lot of facilities (e.g. business centre, gyms, etc) which is why the rating is lower. You can view a full list of the hotels we use on this tour in the attached Trip Notes.
