  Last week, I spent an unforgettable time in Sri Lanka in the company of 26 wonderful women. We explored the southern and central parts of the country, and throughout the entire trip, our safety and comfort were looked after by the exceptional Exotic Perla team. They were attentive, kind, and truly outstanding. They took care of every detail—from providing water on the bus, to safely guiding us across the streets, ensuring that restrooms were always stocked with paper, and even adjusting the itinerary to suit the group’s needs and suggesting improvements. We exchanged money, bought alcohol, and checked into hotels always in their company. Every suitcase was carefully labeled with the company’s logo and counted thoroughly each time.   Wow! What a trip and I loved every single detail and destination. We started in Negombo and travelled to Kandy, Batticoloa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, ending back in Negombo. We saw temples, the elephants in their natural habitat, visited co-ops, natural wonders like Sigiriya rock, the tea factory, markets, and spontaneously Spa Ceylon ;) . We tasted beautiful Sri Lankan food (and tried hoppers and corn on the side of the road) and tasted tea. Oh and we shopped!! Lots! (Sorry Buddhika haha) We saw the ocean/beach and we saw inland Sri Lanka and not just the highlights, but the culture, the traditions and the communities. The real Sri Lanka. All of it was perfect. And real. and that's what I loved. The accommodation was perfect and catered beautifully to our large group. Questions we had were answered, requests were never denied, patience was an attribute of Buddhika and Uditha to deal with a large rowdy group. ;) Even the bus driver and assistant were beautiful and always greeting us and making sure we were safe getting in and out of the bus and the bus was kept beautifully clean each day, ready for another day or touring. Lots of laughs and conversations with both Buddhika and Uditha which made the tour so much fun. For two full weeks, they put up with our constant banter, questions and requests and nothing was ever 'too hard'. They catered to our every need. The best tour I have done and I can highly recommend. I will be back to show my kids this beautiful country with Exotic Perla. Thank you so much for such a memorable, fantastic and educational trip. See you again soon. ;)Show more
