The average group size can vary between different tours. We have a maximum group size of 22 for our Classic tours which we do have available in Vietnam, did you check these out? Our 12 and 15 day tour will take you to various different locations in Vietnam and include an action packed itinerary! You will remain in the same group throughout your tour, with only other One Life Adventure guests. Our Sapa hikes require a low level of fitness, if you did wish to not take part in the hikes, our tour guide would be more than happy to offer alternatives for you to enjoy that day.

Is it possible to leave after 5 days already and pay less? Or pay the same but take the night train 5.1. instead of 6.1.?

Unfortunately our tours do have fixed lengths and prices, including fixed itineraries. All transport will get booked prior to your tour commencing for specific dates that align with our given itinerary. If you would like to board the night train a day prior, this will need to be arranged independently at your own cost.

Would it be possible to receive a discount if three travelers share a double room?

Unfortunately, the double room option will only accommodate 2 guests. 1 of your group will then be in standard rooming and paired up with another traveller from the tour group of the same sex. During the multi share nights, we will be sure to group you all together so you will be sharing the same room in the homestay, and during the overnight train.

Before the tour started there was a misunderstanding between us and the operator, but we really appreciated how One Life Adventures handled it and that's another reason why we think they are one of the best. The days in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay were amazing, full of activities, the accommodation was 10/10 and our tour guide Danny was the best - giving us a lot of information about Vietnam and the places we were seeing, sending us the detailed itinerary in advance for the next day and always doing activities with us. He's also a very funny guy and the good vibes never missed with him - I can tell for sure he was our favorite tour guide. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Danny because in Sapa, so for the last 3 days, there is a different tour guide. Our second tour guide was Hop, a very sweet lady that took us to some incredible hikes that ended up at her family house in the middle of nature where we also spent the night. There wasn't much to do around except for a massage in the neighborhood. Hop tried to accommodate our needs and change the plans in order to have more time to do extra activities (like the Cable Car, Cat Cat Village), but she was not very present, for eg. she was not eating with us or in the first day she warned us about the groups of old Vietnamese ladies that follow you around while doing hiking and then insist to buy stuff from them only after they left and she didn't use the group to send us information about the plans of the day which I think is quite important as while you move every day is not so easy to keep track of the plans that you hear only verbally and it can get confusing very easily. Overall it is a very good tour to explore Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and Sapa more as a local and less as a tourist - we would definitely not be able to have the same experiences on our own.Show more

Quit balanced, spends just good amount of time in each place and not overloaded either, Ha Long Bay with accommodation on the cruise and Sa Pa are well worth the visit. Danny is the awesome tour guide. One of the best Ive seen. Energy and knowledge of both local places as well as culture and spirit of Vietnam is greatly appreciated and I had a lot of fun and learned a lot as well.Show more

  Our tour guide will be able to assist you with any onward travel at your own cost. The travel time from Ta Van to Sa pa is around 1 hour. Please do note that this onward travel will be at your own cost, and will need to be communicated with your tour guide at the beginning of the tour to help with arrangements.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with One Life Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
