As Tibet continues to be a sensitive area for travel to the Chinese government, you must refrain from listing Tibet as one of the places you are going to visit as your application form or your Visa will be denied. Once you receive your Chinese Visa, please send a copy to us so we can arrange your Tibet permit. We must receive your China Visa copy no later than 31 days prior to departure, to ensure your Tibet permit can be obtained in time.

  Would I first book the trip and then apply for the visas? If so, what if I book and pay for the trip and we do not get approved for the visas? Also, I read if you enter Tibet from Nepal, you need to be in Nepal for a few days before you get the Tibet visa paperwork approved. Is this the case when entering Tibet from China?
