- Day 2
Washington, D.C.
Start at the White House Visitor Center, then head through several key memorials including the National World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial. You'll spend time at Smithsonian museums on the National Mall, where you can check out the National Air and Space Museum or National Museum of American History depending on your interests. Later that evening, there's a welcome dinner followed by a twilight monument tour to see the sites lit up.

Washington, D.C. - Arlington - White Sulphur Springs
Start the day with a narrated tour of Arlington National Cemetery, taking in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Kennedy family gravesites. From there, you'll head to historic Front Royal where you have free time to walk around and grab lunch if you'd like. After that, the drive takes you through West Virginia's mountains on the way to The Greenbrier resort. You'll arrive with enough time to settle in before dinner service starts.

- Day 4
The Greenbrier
This full day is dedicated to exploring The Greenbrier's grounds and amenities. You'll get a tour of the vast property and visit the formerly classified government bunker from the 1950s, which is quite a unique piece of Cold War history. The afternoon opens up for resort activities like croquet, horseback riding, swimming, or shopping if you prefer something different. Optional afternoon tea and casino access are there if you want them. Dinner is served at the resort again.

Leave The Greenbrier in the morning and drive to Monticello, where you'll tour Thomas Jefferson's home and walk through the gardens on the grounds. The next leg takes you to Williamsburg, and once you check in at your hotel, the evening is free for you to explore local restaurants and historical sites at your own pace.

Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg brings history to life with historical reenactors and artisans recreating the year 1770. You can wander the cobblestone streets and historic buildings at your own pace, poking into shops and buildings that catch your eye. Lunch is on your own, either on the grounds or over at Merchant's Square. By evening, your group gets together for a Colonial-style farewell dinner at an historic tavern.

You'll head back toward Washington, D.C. with a stop in Old Town Alexandria where you have free time and can grab lunch on your own. Later, visit Mount Vernon, George Washington's beloved home, touring the main house and exploring the gardens and grounds. You'll also visit the tomb of General Washington and Martha. Then it's back to your hotel for the evening, where you'll raise a final toast to your historic journey.
