Itinerary
- Day 1
South Bali to Ende to Moni
After getting picked up from your hotel in South Bali, you'll fly to Ende on Flores. Once you land, there's time to walk through the local market and grab lunch before driving to Moni. Along the way, you'll stop at Saga, a traditional Lio village where you can see ancestral houses and check out the Detusoko rice fields. By evening you'll settle into your accommodation at the base of Kelimutu volcano (1,600 m/5,249 ft elevation).

Kelimutu - Riung
This morning involves an early drive to the Kelimutu trailhead for about a 1-hour hike covering 2 km each way up to the crater lakes at 1,600 m. The colored crater lakes here are the main draw. On your way back down, you'll visit a fruit market and walk through traditional coffee plantations in the villages of Wologai and Wolopaku. Later you'll see Penggajawa Beach with its distinctive light blue stones, then head to Riung with a stop at Boawae viewpoint.

Riung Marine National Park - Bajawa
An early morning boat trip takes you to Riung Marine National Park, where you'll visit islands throughout the 17-island park. One island has flying foxes, and another offers white sand beaches. After snorkeling around coral gardens, you're heading to Bajawa. On the way, stop at the hot springs in Mengeruda near Soa before checking into your hotel.

Bajawa
Today focuses on the Ngadha ethnic villages of Luba and Bena, where stone monuments, ancestor worship shrines, and traditional adat houses sit among volcanic mountain landscapes. If you want, there's a hike to Tololela village (or you can drive). Back in Bajawa for lunch, then you'll head to Wolobobo viewpoint for sunset before eating dinner at a local restaurant.

Bajawa to Ruteng
The drive to Ruteng takes you through villages and dense rainforests. You'll pass through Aimera, where traditional palm wine is made, and see Ranamese Lake, a crater lake in the highlands. Liang Bua cave comes next, the archaeological site where Homo Floresiensis remains were found. After that, you'll continue on to Ruteng for the evening.

Komodo National Park - Rinca Island
Stop in the Cancar region to see the spider-web-shaped Lingko rice field before heading to Labuan Bajo. From there, a roughly 2-hour private boat ride takes you to Rinca Island in Komodo National Park. A ranger leads a 4 km trek where you'll see Komodo monitor lizards, wild water buffalo, wild horses, deer, and rare birds. On the return to Labuan Bajo, there are optional stops for swimming and snorkeling at Manjarite and Kelor islands.

Komodo National Park
Standard guests take about a 3.5-hour boat trip to Komodo Island, then trek 4 km with a ranger to Banunggulung ranger station to see Komodo dragons. You'll visit Pink Beach with its distinctive glowing pink sand for swimming and snorkeling, plus Manta Point, before returning to Labuan Bajo. Superior guests get a private speedboat instead, visiting Padar Island for views, Komodo Island with a guided dragon trek, Pink Beach, Siaba Turtle Point for snorkeling, and Rinca Island. There's an optional traditional village visit for Superior guests too.

Labuan Bajo to South Bali
After breakfast, you'll check out Batu Cermin stalactite cave before heading to Labuan Bajo airport for your flight back to Bali. Once you land, a transfer takes you to your hotel in South Bali (arrange this separately).
