  This tour looks quite interesting. My only concern is whether it would be a bit rushed. I would hate to spend a lot of time on a bus, then arrive in a city like Cambridge, and have only 30 minutes to explore.

    I plan to be in London a few days after the tour ends. Please let me know what hotel you plan to use in London and if it would be possible for me to arrange to stay there a couple of days after the group returns to London. That way I would not have to change hotels unnecessarily. It would also be helpful to know what the cost would be for adding the extra days.

    Regarding your concern, I would like to be honest with you: on this particular tour there is quite a bit of time spent on the bus, as it covers several destinations in a limited number of days. From what you mentioned, this might not be exactly what you are looking for, especially if you prefer more time to explore places like Cambridge at a relaxed pace.
    
    As for the hotel in London, we usually work with the following (or similar):
    
    • Premier Inn London Putney Bridge
    • Novotel London Wembley
    • Ibis London Earls Court
    
    Once the departure is guaranteed, we can confirm the exact hotel. In most cases, it is possible to arrange extra nights at the same hotel, subject to availability. I would be happy to request availability and rates for the additional days you are considering.
    
    Additionally, we offer many other tours within the United Kingdom that are more relaxed and allow more time in each destination. If you would like, I would be happy to prepare a tailored proposal that better matches your travel style and interests.

    My current plans are that I fly into London on April 29th and am free for sightseeing until May 4th or 5th and then head to York. I have been to Cambridge, Bath, and Stonehenge in the past, but I would not mind another visit. I am particularly interested in seeing some of the great cathedral of England. What appealed to me about your program was that it included Salisbury, Coventry, Stratford-on-Avon, Glouchester, and Chester. However, there are other cathedral like Wells, Lincoln, and Canterbury that I would love to see, although realizing that it means hopping all over the country. At this point in my life, at hour in a cathedral is more than enough for me, but I would hate to arrive somewhere and be told to get back on the bus in 20 minutes, if you know what I mean. If you do have something to propose within the overall dates of April 30th to May 4th, I would be very interested. I will be traveling alone, so a single room would be needed in each location.

    This Tour includes accommodation in 3-star hotels and a transfer from the airport to the hotel on the first day of the Tour, as well as transportation for all excursions. What is not included (but we can certainly arrange for you) is the departure transfer.

  Im a bit confused....you say guides are not included but mention guides at each destination. Does this mean the trip is not escorted but guides are available at the site? Also, how far out of London is the near London hotel? I know Marble Arch is in the heart but what about the hotel at the beginning of the trip?

    An English-speaking guide is included in the package. The hotel in London is the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel, located in the heart of the capital and within walking distance of the famous stores on Oxford Street and Regent Street (or a similar hotel in the same location). In Bath, you will stay at the Hampton by Hilton Bath City Hotel, which is situated right in the heart of the city (or a similar hotel)
