  This tour far exceeded our expectations! We had looked into several companies and itineraries, and we decided to take the plunge with Tourradar and it did not disappoint. The cities, flights, activities, schedule was carefully curated by Russ Masterson, our travel advisor, and we enjoyed every minute of it. He was responsive from the minute we booked and stayed in contact during our entire stay. We could not have asked for a better travel planner/advisor. Thank you Russ for making our Christmas and NYE so memorable. I highly recommend this trip and using Russ and Tourradar!!!Show more

  Do yourself a favor and plan your own trip! All this "tour" does is they book your hotels (half the time it's actually an AirBnB), flights (which are not the greatest) and daily activities (which you can plan yourself), they don't even confirm the tours for you (you have to reach out to the different daily tour operators directly yourself 24 hours prior). No airport pick up. They don't pick you up from the hotels for daily trips but your are meeting a group of new people each day at a meeting point, which according to the company is 5 min away from the hotel but it's not the case (sometimes you have to walk 10-15min, sometimes take an Uber). They switch tours around (for me in Melbourne the city tour was on the last day, obviously I would prefer it to be on the first day as stated on the website so I have time to come back to places I enjoyed). In Uluru they booked the same tour twice for me (sunset tour)! Why??? In Cairns they tour operator didn't show up for the Rainforest tour (that was the only tour where they were supposed to pick me up from the hotel but changed it to the meeting point the last moment) - I called the emergency assistance number and they didn't respond for over 24 hours (the response was via text message stating that I was supposed to contact to tour guide in advance and I didn't and when I responded that emailed them 3 times with no response I never heard back). The 3 hour water river cruise in Sydney is actually 1.5 hours and they also change the pier the last moment and nobody reached out to me to tell me about it, it's pure luck that I didn't miss it! Overall - this "tour" is a total disaster!!!!! DO IT YOURSELF AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Show more

  HI Alexandra Thanks for your email. Im sorry you did not find our travel services satisfactory. We always aim to please. You travelled in November 2024. We specifically offer independent travel. We do not offer group tours with an escorted tour guide. This means we book airfares, hotels, and day tours for independent travellers who do not need to part of a group tour. We do not book air bnb's. We only book hotels. I have reviewed your booking and you stayed in hotels in Australia. We did not book any Air bnbs for you. We book good hotels in central locations. There are only three airlines in Australia, and all offer the same style of service. There is not much choice Im sorry to say. The flights times are based on airline schedules and flying times. Where we differ, and why you should book with us is there are literally over 200 day tour operators here in Australia. What we do is book you with reputable companies, that offer you a great commentary and excellent service so you can learn all about our country. You are required to reconfirm these tours, and we do acknowledge that this process can be difficult from time to time. We do place your phone number and email address into every booking. We can only book the day tours on the day that they operate. You are correct is saying there may be some date changes and this is based on the day the day tour operates. We can also assist with airport pick up, but this is an additional cost. Thank you again for the review and I do apologise if you found the process difficult.   Having traveled to over 30 countries, I was shocked the final y booked their tours through Viator and Expedia which I could have done myself. Expected higher quality curated tours. Never received any emails regarding pickup/drop off locations and even thought the operator was aware of issue, never called me throughout the two weeks. Would never recommend this company again! Regret taking this tour and will look to other companies to travelShow more

  HI Joan Thanks for your message. I hope you enjoyed your tour to Australia. Our style of touring is specialized but does require customers to reconfirm day tours. everyone. There are many emails between you and our office whilst you were in our country. However very little communication prior to departure. We are in a position where we are able to curate specialized tours. In future we will certainly engage closely with customers prior to departure to ensure we meet their expectations.   The tour was great as Australia is a beautiful place to visit. The tour company did forget to book a tour which was hugely disappointing as we live across the other side of the world and my parents were really looking forward to it. We were given back our money back for the tour but not offered any compensation. I also looked at the tour prices and I don’t believe the money we were given back matched any of the tour prices, so we were given less money. Book at your own risk but given for most of us visiting Australia is a one in a lifetime opportunity you want to ensure booking with a company you know you can trust and if things go wrong will be fair.Show more

Despite the problem with one of your activities, I do hope that you and your parents enjoyed visiting our beautiful country. I sincerely apologise for the oversight regarding your BBQ dinner in Uluru. This was brought to our attention outside of office hours, which affected us being able to assist as quickly as we would normally. As such, we refunded the full BBQ dinner portion of the tour to you. We have special rates for the included sightseeing, which is why our packages are more affordable, but it's also why you'll see a variation in your refund compared to the usual tour prices. The full refund was based on the price advised by the local tour operator. We appreciated the inconvenience of the situation and at the time also offered to book: 1/ A visit to Taronga Zoo in Sydney to see Australian Wildlife 2/ Sydney Rocks Guided History Walking Tour 3/ Cairns Sunset Cruise Again, I apologise for not booking the BBQ dinner at Uluru and I am sorry that this impacted your holiday.
