    Auckland

    You'll arrive in Auckland and meet your Travel Director and group. The first activity takes you on a waterfront tour from the central city to Mission Bay, with stops at Bastion Point and the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial where you'll get nice views across the harbor. Later in the afternoon, you'll gather for a tour briefing and welcome drink to get to know everyone.

You can visit the Hobbiton Movie Set to walk through the 12-acre Shire, check out Hobbit Holes and the Green Dragon Inn, or skip that for a relaxing two-hour session at Wai Ariki Spa. There's also a World War II amphibious vehicle tour of the lakes, and in the evening you can experience Te Po Indigenous Experience at Te Puia with Maori cultural performance and hangi-inspired food.

    Queenstown
