I'm curious if there's any flexibility to the start date? We have a group but we couldn't start till the afternoon of the 4th of October. Does this include any lodging?

You can start the tour in the afternoon of 4th October. As you are coming in 4 people, you can actually decide your start date. Please have a look at our website Experience Slovakia, we are offering there more tours, hikes, vitising historical places, wine tasting, etc. If you would be interested in any of these, let us know, and we can build an itinerary according to your interest, especially for you. Could you let us know where you will be arriving at?

Is there any private tour you could offer me to try to see bears/wolves - even an overnight tour. I will not have my own transport and I don't want to leave my son for 4 days on the bear tour you offer.

Normally the tour we offer is for a minimum of 2 people. However, on special requests we also do private tours for one person. For the bear watching tour we have an exclusive bear watching guide who charges 400 euros per day regardless if there is one person or 8 people in the tour. Wouldn't you and your son be interested in doing a 4 day tour, or even a shorter tour with the bear watching included? Perhaps, it would be cheaper for you per day (a longer tour) in comparison to one day tour only.

Accommodation was quite simple, breakfast not so good (and not too healthy for hikers) in a small village - which was authentic on the one side but if you have no car, it is a bit more difficult to move around in the later afternoon/evening. Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Experience Slovakia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
