  I had a fantastic time in Egypt however the hotel in Cairo and the cruise ship was not 5 star, the resort in Hurghada was absolutely out of this world! I am very disappointed in TourRadar as I had specifically asked to book the tour to the Serapeum of Saqqara yet during the course of the day I was informed that it was not to be included in the tour, I was looking forward to my last day and did not expect my needs not to be met.Show more

  We had a great time on the Nourbelle tour "Pharoahs Path: from the Nile to the Red Sea. The group was not too big (15-19) was was great. The guides, drivers and personnel were friendly, on time, and helpful, especially Abdou, Mohammed, and Ahmed Elkalif. We felt very safe, even with the crisis going on in the Middle East. The night you arrive they explain the timetable of the tour. There are a lot of early mornings! This was good because we would get there before the big tour buses came. You get to see so much and the value of the tour package was well worth it. The hotels (Gewan in Cairo,etc) and the Nile Cruise had beautiful rooms. You definitely have to clarify with the Nourbelle which activities in the Tourradar itinerary are optional and what they cost. As long as you know exactly whats included or not, and that the tips and admission fees are not not included in the price, there will be no surprises (Tourradar needs to update/correct the itinerary activities that are optional but is listed as part of the price). We did the optional Abu Simbel-well worth it, the balloon ride cancelled due winds, the horse carriage ride in Luxor was ok, but because we were put on a later flight, the Nubian Village we barely got to see and probably wasnt worth it. Hurghada was wonderful with the resort being top notch--I never saw a buffet spread like this ever! It was really windy and cool at the beginning of March so we decided not to snorkel. Some of us did the optional Safari desert tour with dune buggies and ATVs and liked it. At the end of the tour, we decided to add on an Old Cairo tour. I thought it would include the Khalili bazaar, but it was just the Islamic and Coptic areas of the Old Cairo. All in all, we had a great time and would do it all over again with Nourbelle and Tourradar.Show more

  Was a awesome experience in egypt very friendly people and a big itinerary!. Guides were awesome full of knowledge and the organizer was a really big help!!. Beware of having to buy your own water on the tour! Yes not included which is ridiculous in 40+ degrees °c. Also you'll have to pay more for the major attractions, tips and more activities that's not Cleary specific. Upwards of 600usd. The itinerary was good but I recommend not doing all the activities if you want some chill time. There was that many temples and talking that we would either be up early or back extremely late. To the point they'd be waiting for us to eat at 9pm. But overall accommodation was good, people were friendly who worked for the tour. But you will get pestered non stop by locals and waiters for money. Egypt great but just get all the info before you leaveShow more

  5 out of 5 stars. A great tour, excellent organization and execution! The guides are very friendly and courteous and also respond to spontaneous requests for changes. (We switched from horse transport to a minibus for the sake of the animals. Highly recommended. Many thanks again to our guide Islam!) I booked all the optional excursions and am very happy with them. Only the Nubian village was not my cup of tea, as you can tell that it is extremely geared towards tourists and crocodiles are kept in tiny aquariums/concrete tanks with no hiding places (supposedly out of tradition)... But this is not the responsibility of the tour operator/guide, just a note here for your planning of optional activities. Everything else is highly recommended! In summary, I would do the tour again at any time including all optional excursions (with the exception mentioned above) and recommend it to solo travelers as well as couples and families. I traveled alone, had a fantastic time together with a small group of five others and got great impressions of Egypt's culture. The variety between desert, city and the lush greenery along the Nile is perfect. Great tour with the best guides I could have imagined!Show more
