Would this date be a guaranteed departure? What is the level of accommodation? What is the form of transport - is it a mini bus? We are energetic 73 and 64 year olds who have done quite a bit of energetic travel.

Although we do not yet have confirmed bookings for this specific departure date, the tour is guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 2 passengers. We offer two different accommodation categories: Bronze Series Hotels: 3 and 4 star hotels and Silver Series Hotels: 4 star hotels. You can find the planned hotel names in the accommodation on TourRadar webpage. These may be the same hotels or others of a similar standard Transportation will be provided either in a sedan car if there are only 2 confirmed participants on the selected departure, or in a minivan with capacity for 3 to 8 passengers, should additional travellers confirm the tour Our tours are accompanied by drivers who, in addition to driving the vehicle, provide general historical and cultural information in English. However, they are not official tour guides and do not accompany guests inside the monuments The difficulty level of this tour is very low and suitable for all travellers. The walks are on even ground, without steep slopes.

is it possible for two single beds as we are male and female friends only, not partners

We cannot guarantee the bed type, as it is subject to availability upon arrival at the hotel. However, we can certainly inform the hotel of the clients' bed preference. In order to guarantee separate beds, we recommend booking single rooms. We understand that the cost is higher, but this is the only way to ensure separate beds.

Do you have this tour departing in mid-May 2026? And what would be the cost for a single supplement?

We are finalizing our brochures with tours starting on April 1, 2026, and we expect them to be ready by mid-September. As soon as we have the dates and prices finalized, we will send you all the information.

Is it possible to travel on different dates than the ones listed? I would need to begin on Nov. 20 instead of 21, and end on Nov. 28 instead of Nov. 29. Would that cause price changes?

Do you have any option/ability to facilitate a return to Lisbon via train, so I could fly out of that airport instead of Porto?

This way you can start the tour 1 day earlier and end it 1 day earlier. We can also include the train journey from Porto to Lisbon as well as transfers from the hotel to the train station in Porto and from the train station in Lisbon to the airport.
