Itinerary
- Day 1
Krakow to Poprad
You'll get picked up from Krakow and head to Poprad, Slovakia for the start of your trip. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around town. The Podtatranské museum and Tatra Gallery are worth checking out if you're interested in local art and history. Spišská Sobota, the medieval district nearby, has some really nice old burgher houses and the Church of St George that show off the area's architectural heritage.

Spisske Podhradie - Spis Castle
Travel to Levoca to see the medieval architecture and Gothic church housing a remarkable wooden altar carved by Master Pavol. You'll also see the medieval shame cage and walk past the old merchants' houses. From there, head up Marianska Hora mount for views overlooking the Basilica of the Visitation and the Virgin Mary statue. After that, continue to Kapitula's ecclesiastical centre with San Martin cathedral, then Spis Jerusalem before finishing at Spis Castle, one of the largest castle complexes in Europe.

- Day 3
Strbske pleso - Stary Smokovec
Start your day in the High Tatras at Štrbské pleso, a glacial lake surrounded by mountain scenery. In the afternoon, take the train to Starý Smokovec, a well-known hiking and skiing resort where you can walk around the area. If you're interested in something different, Tricklandia offers visual illusions and trickart displays as an optional activity during your time there.

Nestville Park
Spend the morning at Lubovna Castle and the wooden village museum next to it, which shows traditional regional architecture and building styles. The castle sits on a 711-metre limestone cliff and has an interesting history, having stored Polish coronation jewels and held notable prisoners. After lunch, visit Nestville Park whisky distillery to learn how Slovak whisky gets made, see Europe's largest carved wooden panel, and try some matured whisky from oak barrels.

- Day 5
Betliar Manor House
Visit Dobšinská Ľadová Jaskyňa, one of Europe's largest ice caves and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll walk a 30-minute trail through 1,232 metres of cave passages with underground ice formations that are worth seeing. Later, tour Betliar Manor House, a hunting lodge with an English park, art galleries, music halls, antique furnishings, exotic collections, and a library holding over 14,000 volumes.

Dunajec River - Kezmarok
Take a traditional wooden boat trip down the Dunajec River in the Pieniny region using boats modeled after ones from 1708. Stop at the Red Monastery, a 14th-century structure that was once a film location and now functions as a museum. After grabbing lunch, explore Kezmarok, a medieval city founded in 1269, where you can see Kezmarsky Castle and the Holy Trinity Church, which has Slovakia's best-preserved wooden church interior and a unique wooden organ.
