Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll arrive in Tokyo and head straight to Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia-gai. A driver meets you at the airport arrival hall and takes you there via private vehicle, so you can settle in and get oriented.

Tokyo
This morning you'll check out Meiji Jingu Shrine and walk the Meiji Jingu Gaien avenue lined with 146 ginkgo trees. From there, head to Senso-Ji temple in Asakusa, then finish the day at Rikugien Garden where you'll see over 1,000 maple trees showing their autumn colors.

Tokyo
You've got a full day exploring Tokyo's different neighborhoods. Start in Shinjuku with its tall skyscrapers, then hit Shibuya Crossing. Later you'll head to Odaiba Seaside Park to see Rainbow Bridge and a Statue of Liberty replica. After that, tour the Imperial Palace and East Gardens, climb Tokyo Tower for views, wander through Akihabara's electronics shops and anime stores, and end the evening in Ginza for shopping and dinner.

You'll take a day trip to Nikko and visit Toshogu Shrine, a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Check out Kegon Falls and then choose between taking a cruise on Chuzenji Lake with Mount Nantai views or soaking in a Nikko hot spring to relax.

Today focuses on the Lake Kawaguchiko area and Hakone. You'll walk through the Lake Kawaguchiko Maple Leaf Corridor with fall colors, visit Arakurayama Sengen Shrine for Mount Fuji views, take a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi, and explore Hakone's hot springs and traditional ryokan inns.

After lunch, catch the Shinkansen bullet train from Odawara to Kyoto in the afternoon.

Kyoto
This day covers three of Kyoto's most well-known landmarks. You'll go to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of the city's oldest from 778 AD, with its famous platform and autumn maples. Next is Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion with its gold-covered structure reflected in the water. You'll finish at Nijo Castle, built in 1603, which shows classic feudal-era palace design.

Uji - Nara - Osaka
You'll visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, the main shrine for 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan with roots going back to the 8th century. Head to Uji, known for high-quality matcha tea and early green tea production. Then check out Nara Park with over 1,200 roaming deer, and end at Todai-ji Temple, a major UNESCO site and one of Japan's Seven Great Temples.

Osaka
You'll explore Osaka's mix of old and new attractions starting at Osaka Castle Park to see how the shogun class lived. Later you'll try a ninja activity in Asakusa learning shuriken throwing techniques. Check out the Donki Ferris Wheel near the Don Quixote store, and spend your evening in Dotonbori where neon lights and signs light up the district. Sample local food like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, yakitori, and other specialties.
