If you're visiting Istanbul and looking for an immersive cultural experience, I highly recommend taking a day trip to Ephesus from Istanbul. It’s a seamless journey from the bustling city to one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. The tour was extremely well-organized, from airport transfers to skip-the-line entry at the key historical sites. We started early in the morning with a quick flight from Istanbul to Izmir, and within an hour we were on our way to ancient Ephesus. Our private guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English. Walking through the marble streets of Ephesus, we were amazed by the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Roman baths—each site rich in history and beautifully preserved. One of the highlights was the visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, a serene and spiritual spot believed to be her final residence. We also explored the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. What made this tour exceptional was the personalized attention and comfort—private transfers, a professional guide, and flexibility throughout the day. Despite being a day tour from Istanbul, everything was perfectly timed and stress-free. This is a must-do tour for anyone who loves history, archaeology, or simply wants to explore more of Turkey beyond Istanbul. Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 35% is required to confirm your booking with Moira Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
