  1. Day 1

    Departure

    Start your journey early and head to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. You'll have time to get through check-in and security before boarding for the long flight ahead. Settle in, relax, and prepare yourself for the adventure that's waiting.

  2. Day 2

    Cape Town

    After landing in Cape Town, you'll head directly to your accommodation to drop off your bags. From there, make your way to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where street performers and local shops line the promenade. Table Mountain dominates the views here, and you can grab lunch at one of the waterfront cafes. If you're interested, the Cape Wheel offers a different perspective of the harbor, or the Castle of Good Hope provides some local history if you have the energy after traveling.

  3. Day 3

    Cape Town

    This morning you can try a surf session at one of Cape Town's beaches if that appeals to you. The waves are solid and instructors are available if you need them. Afterward, find a beach cafe to rest and grab something to eat. Later, head to Signal Hill as the sun starts dropping toward the horizon and bring wine to enjoy while you watch. Look for the famous yellow Table Mountain Frame for that perfect photo opportunity.

  4. Day 4

    Cape Town

    Start with coffee at a local spot and take a relaxed walk through downtown Cape Town along Long Street, checking out the shops and local vibe. Pass by the iconic Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel (known locally as the Pink Lady) for photos. Then ride the gondola up Table Mountain for sweeping views across the city and surrounding areas. By evening, you can either watch the sunset from Camps Bay Beach or spend time at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens if you prefer nature.

    Cape of Good Hope

    Travel to Boulders Beach to see the African penguins going about their day, waddling through the sand and relaxing between the big granite rocks. After that, continue on to Cape Point for the views out over False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean stretching in different directions. You can hike to the summit on foot or take the optional cog railroad if you'd rather save your energy.

    Fly out of Cape Town heading to Nairobi. Depending on your flight time, you might have a couple hours to explore the city before getting transferred to Amboseli National Park. By evening you'll be settling into your glamping accommodation with Mount Kilimanjaro rising across the savannah. Spend time on the terrace with binoculars, watching the waterhole for wildlife activity. End the night around a campfire with other guests, taking in the sounds of the African bush.

    You'll transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, a drive that takes several hours. Once you arrive at your glamping tent, take time to absorb the views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah. Settle onto the terrace with binoculars in hand, scanning for wildlife at the nearby waterhole. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire to celebrate arriving at this incredible location.

    Today is for safari. You'll choose between a morning or evening game drive through the park, depending on what fits your schedule. During the drive, watch for zebras at waterholes, antelopes roaming across the grassland, and if luck is on your side, lions. Keep your camera ready and scan the savannah constantly. Back at camp, you'll spend your remaining hours with binoculars, watching the wildlife activity around the waterhole as the light changes through the day.

    Amboseli to Zanzibar
