  Seeing the Pyramids of Giza in person was an unforgettable way to begin our Egyptian adventure. The scale of the pyramids and the Sphinx was even more impressive than we expected. The Grand Egyptian Museum added another fascinating layer to the experience, with an incredible collection of ancient treasures. We also enjoyed visiting Saqqara and Memphis, which gave us a deeper understanding of Egypt’s early history. Cairo’s Islamic and Coptic landmarks were equally interesting, especially the Citadel and historic churches. Alexandria brought a completely different atmosphere with its Mediterranean coastline. Luxor and Aswan were spectacular, while Abu Simbel was a perfect finale. Everything was well coordinated, and having a private guide made the journey comfortable, informative and enjoyable.Show more

  From our first evening in Cairo to the final visit at Abu Simbel, this journey was packed with memorable experiences. The Nile dinner cruise was a wonderful introduction to the city, especially with the evening atmosphere and traditional entertainment. The following days brought the Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum, followed by Saqqara and Memphis. We particularly enjoyed exploring the historic side of Cairo, including the Citadel, Alabaster Mosque and Khan El Khalili. Alexandria was another highlight, with Qaitbay Citadel, the catacombs and beautiful Mediterranean views. Luxor was breathtaking, especially Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Aswan felt more peaceful, and Philae Temple was beautiful. Abu Simbel was truly unforgettable. The itinerary was varied, fascinating and very well organized.Show more

  What impressed us most about this tour was the variety of experiences included within eight days. The Pyramids and Sphinx were obvious highlights, but visiting Saqqara and Memphis made us appreciate just how deep Egypt’s history really is. Cairo also offered wonderful cultural experiences through the Citadel, historic mosques, Coptic churches and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Our day in Alexandria was a pleasant change, with the Mediterranean coastline and impressive Qaitbay Citadel. Luxor felt like stepping into another world, particularly at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Aswan brought a quieter atmosphere and a beautiful visit to Philae. The magnificent temples of Abu Simbel provided a spectacular ending. The private guiding made every site much easier to understand and appreciate.Show more

  Although the Pyramids were the obvious dream attraction, Luxor ended up being our favorite part of the journey. Karnak Temple was enormous and fascinating, with its impressive columns and ancient inscriptions. Visiting the Valley of the Kings was another unforgettable experience, especially learning about the pharaohs and their tombs. Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon added even more to the day. Before reaching Luxor, we had already experienced Cairo, Giza, Saqqara, Memphis and Alexandria, so the itinerary never felt repetitive. Aswan provided a more relaxed atmosphere, and the boat ride to Philae Temple was particularly enjoyable. Abu Simbel was an incredible final highlight. The private format worked very well for us because we could ask questions and learn at our own pace.Show more

  Traveling made this trip feel much more comfortable. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and understand the history behind each attraction instead of simply moving from one location to another. Cairo was an incredible starting point, with the Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum providing unforgettable memories. Saqqara and Memphis were fascinating additions that showed us another side of ancient Egypt. We also loved the combination of Islamic and Coptic Cairo, followed by the very different atmosphere of Alexandria. Luxor was spectacular, especially Karnak and the Valley of the Kings. Aswan and Philae offered a peaceful change of pace before the magnificent Abu Simbel visit. The organization was excellent throughout, making a busy itinerary feel surprisingly easy to enjoy.Show more

  Expected Cairo and Luxor to be the main highlights but Alexandria turned out to be one of my favorite experiences. The Mediterranean atmosphere felt completely different from the rest of the journey. We enjoyed visiting the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Qaitbay Citadel, Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs and Pompey’s Pillar, followed by a relaxing walk along the Corniche. The seafood lunch overlooking the Mediterranean was also a lovely touch. Earlier in Cairo, the Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum were unforgettable, while Saqqara and Memphis added more historical depth. Luxor was spectacular, and Aswan brought a calmer atmosphere around the Nile. Abu Simbel was a fantastic final destination. The itinerary gave us an excellent balance between famous monuments, cultural experiences and less expected discoveries.Show more

  There is something completely different about learning history while standing inside the places where it actually happened. At the Pyramids and Sphinx, we could appreciate their incredible scale, while the Grand Egyptian Museum helped connect those monuments with the civilization that created them. Saqqara and Memphis were especially interesting because they revealed an older chapter of Egyptian history. Cairo’s Citadel, mosques, churches and Khan El Khalili showed us another side of the country beyond the ancient monuments. Alexandria brought Mediterranean scenery and fascinating archaeological sites. Luxor was extraordinary, particularly Karnak and the Valley of the Kings. Aswan was peaceful, with Philae being a personal highlight. Abu Simbel was breathtaking. The explanations from our guide made each location more interesting and helped bring thousands of years of history to life.Show more

We also enjoyed discovering the city’s Islamic and Coptic heritage and browsing Khan El Khalili. Alexandria was a welcome change with its Mediterranean views and historic attractions. Luxor was packed with remarkable sights, from Karnak Temple to the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Aswan offered a quieter atmosphere and a beautiful visit to Philae. Abu Simbel was an unforgettable final highlight. The combination of sightseeing, comfortable arrangements and knowledgeable guiding gave us a wonderful balance between adventure and relaxation throughout the journey.Show more

  Looking back at the entire journey, we were amazed by how many unforgettable experiences were included. The Pyramids of Giza were every bit as impressive as we had imagined, while the Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum made the first part of the trip exceptional. Saqqara and Memphis deepened our understanding of Egypt’s ancient civilization. We loved discovering Cairo’s historic mosques, churches and Khan El Khalili before heading to Alexandria and its Mediterranean atmosphere. Luxor was breathtaking, especially the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Aswan was peaceful and beautiful, with Philae standing out as a favorite. Abu Simbel was the perfect final memory. The knowledgeable guiding and private arrangements made everything easier to enjoy. We returned home with incredible photographs, fascinating stories and a much greater appreciation for Egypt.Show more
