  Second time on a Croisy cruise. Lovely comfy cabin, the River Seine was beautiful. The food again was outstanding. We shared a table with a couple from England and a mother and daughter from Sydney. Great company and 5 days of almost non stop conversation. We also spent a lot of time talking with 3 french women, particularly enjoyable for my wife whose prime motivation on these trips is to talk french.Show more

  Overall the tour was better than expectations and good value for money. Positives Small boat, easy to get on and off. Pleasant route and adequate time to explore towns. Friendly staff, lovely food and generous with alcohol Length of trip was just right. Areas for improvement More tables for 2 🙏 please. We spent all week dining with a couple and their young child. Boat in need of some renovations and modernisation Our room was noisy at times with children running above our room and noise from bar/ reception areaShow more

  A friend booked through GB Tours for 4 of us to go on this cruise from Paris. I regret to say that ourselves, along with other GB Tours customers, left feeling extremely disappointed. First impressions were not good. Arriving a little early we were not allowed on the ship until 5pm. We were checked in by the Purser who appeared less than friendly and a little overwhelmed. We were shown to our cabin, which was ok but nothing special and a bit cramped for two people. The air con would not turn down below 21, which may be fine for many but I felt it far too warm. The TV was intermittent and at times the information channel 92 did not work either. We were given very little information at the Welcome meeting and took our list to book excursions as instructed by GB Tours. We were told by the Purser that no excursions were available as they should have been booked with GB Tours on booking. This option was NOT available as we were told both verbally and in the written information to book on the ship. Anna ( The Purser) said that she thought it odd that none of our party of 25 had booked anything but obviously did not bother to find out why! I have since learned that the CrosiEurope office and GB Tours had agreed to the on board booking for excursions and that was the arrangement. Anna said that she did not have enough places for all 25 on trips so nothing could be done. Not everyone wanted to go on all trips so a first come basis should have been applied. Some of our party did manage to book something eventually but the information was NOT relayed to us all. The booking on board was also at an inflated cost. Most of our party spent the days either on board or exploring the local area which in a couple of cases did not take long at all. More daytime sailing would have been preferable but obviously our stops were to accommodate the excursions (a catch 22 situation). Lunch for on board passengers was also postponed on one occasion as the excursion was late back! Please dispense with the tanoy system every morning, it was like being in a Butlin's holiday camp. No chance of missing breakfast for a lie in as we were going nowhere!! There should have been a rep on board to supply information as the two ladies on the Reception desk either shrugged their shoulders or rolled their eyes. I am sure all the French passengers had a great time but this Cruise was definitely geared for them and maybe Foreign travelers should not be encouraged. I would not consider your cruise line again as others are far superior for not much more money. Members of our party were also asked to leave the dining room at 9pm on the dot in order to prepare for lunch. Maybe not such an unreasonable request but not conducive to a relaxed holiday. Also on disembarking we were hurried off the boat by the Purser as they needed to set sail. Many of our party were over 75. NOT a great policy. On the plus side. The food was excellent and the dining room staff were excellent too, as were the bar staff and the free beverages were greatly appreciated. I like to think that maybe we were unlucky and had this been another ship in your fleet a better holiday would have been had. I was also unable to send this via CroisiEurope contact site. I received no reply from CroisiEurope - just an acknowledment of receipt!Show more

  No food selection seved meals were whst u got they sucked, fish fish and more fish food very tasteless bar drinks sucked and we payed for prem pkg but when got there prem was not prem,only vodka whiskey and gin,beet ,no mix if wanted prem had to pay extra . the staff were not overly pleasant and since we only speak English we were treated as a lower class and seated at worst table in the back corner. instructions were elberate for French speaking minimal for English people very poor room layouts Air Condioning sucked and room had water damage/mold would never travel with this company againShow more
