Does this time overlap with Ramadan? Also, I understand that the entry visa would have to be obtained in advance by me here in Canada and not at point of entry (Algiers) is that correct? And id need some info on flying to Djanet from Algiers.

The date is in Ramadhan. As a registered travel agency, we can apply on your behalf for the visa and there is no need to go to Algerian embassies or consulates if the big portion of the tour duration is to be spent in Southern Algeria. We are two Parisians interested in the 8-day tour departing from Djanet on December 20th. Unfortunately, we only have the direct flight from Paris to Djanet on December 21st from CDG at 10 PM. Can we catch up with the group with a one-day delay?

We are very pleased to adapt you a 7/8 days trip starting from 21 December 2024. As an official travel agency, we can apply on your behalf for a boarding authorisation (visa) to enter Algeria. You do not need to go to the Algerian embassy or apply via online. You should only fill in the application form, sign it and send it to us via email with a scanned copy of a valid passport.

How long are we going to walk every day ? Is it a long time trekking ?

  Is the itinerary and in fact travel in general in Algeria at the moment still only possible with such a tour rather than independent? Is Paris the only city with direct flights to Djanet? Any recommended airlines for flights via Algiers? The price states FROM e1720, what does this mean exactly and aside from flights and souvenirs are there any other costs?

  Algerian authority does not encourage internationals to make a tour in Algeria alone and it rarely when gives a positive response to visa applications. No, there are many directs flights to Djanet including Algiers (the capital). In case you arrive to Algiers, the return ticket to Djanet is paid by our agency. The 1720 Euro is the whole cost of the tour (excluding international flights, personal expenses, souvenirs and others) including the sleeping bags during the bivouacs (given by the agency). We can arrange visits to other places if you are interests to stay more days after the tours but we should know it during the time of the visa application.
