Rome to Orvieto to Siena to Florence

You'll leave Rome and drive toward Orvieto, where a massive cathedral sits dramatically on top of a limestone cliff. The building itself is incredible, and underneath it there are cave systems you can explore if you're interested. After that, you head to Siena and have free time to wander around on your own. You might check out Piazza del Campo, the famous shell-shaped square, or walk through the duomo. By evening you'll arrive in Florence and settle into your hotel for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Florence

This morning starts with a guided walking tour through Florence so you get a feel for the city layout and history. After the tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. You can walk across Ponte Vecchio, see Piazza della Signoria with all its sculptures, and climb up Giotto's Campanile if you're up for the steps. Grab lunch at a local spot, wander through markets, and try some Florentine food. Later, find a spot for dinner somewhere with a view as the light fades over the city.

There's a chance to try Pecorino cheese, which is made locally, and the countryside around there is nice for photos. Then you head to Solaria Winery for a tour and tasting. Before heading back to Rome, you'll stop in Bagno Vignoni, a small village built around thermal springs where you can take some pictures. By evening you're back in Rome.

The tour was a good experience and Christina, the guide, did an excellent job at creating great days for us and beautiful vistas for us to see. Christina was professional and was excellent at her job. I reached out to tourradar about a week before the tour started to get a list of the hotels and an updated itinerary but was told the did not have an updated version. Other people on our tour, who booked directly through Rabbi's was provided with more details on the tour and the exact hotels. Having the exact hotels would have been helpful in terms of booking reservations, searching for laundry services and general planning.

Great guide and driver. Amazing scenery. Accommodations mostly basic, but it is good to focus on experience rather than hotel rooms! I loved it.
