Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and get transferred to your hotel in the Miraflores district. This gives you time to settle in and adjust to the local time before things kick off tomorrow.

- Day 2
Lima
A half-day city tour takes you through Lima's different neighborhoods, starting with Miraflores and San Isidro before heading into the historic center. After lunch, you'll visit the Larco Herrera Museum, which covers Peru's 3,000 years of history through its collections.

Lima to Arequipa
Head to Lima Airport for a domestic flight to Arequipa, known as the White City. Once you arrive and get to your hotel, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around on your own and get oriented.

Arequipa to Colca Valley
After breakfast, you'll travel toward the Colca Valley, passing through small villages with mountain and volcano views along the way. The drive takes you to Chivay, where you'll check out the local market and then head to your hotel.

- Day 5
Colca Valley to Puno
You'll leave early to reach Cruz del Condor, a viewpoint where you can see the canyon's depth and watch condors riding the thermal updrafts. Later you continue by bus toward Puno, traveling with the other group members.

- Day 6
Puno
A full day on Lake Titicaca involves visiting Taquile Island, the Luquina community on Chuquito Peninsula, and the famous floating reed islands where the Uros people live. You'll spend time on boats seeing how these communities live on the water.

Puno to Cuzco
The bus journey through the Andes includes stops at La Raya pass at 4,335 m (14,222 ft), the Viracocha Temple, and the church of Andahuaylilles before reaching Cuzco. The scenery changes dramatically as you descend toward the city.

Cuzco
Spend your morning resting or exploring Cuzco at your own pace. In the afternoon, a guided walking tour covers the cathedral, the Koricancha Sun Temple, and San Blas, the artisan district perched on the hillside.

Cuzco to Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
You'll visit the salt mines of Maras and the circular terraced ruins of Moray, then continue to the fortress of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. By late afternoon, you board a train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu to Cuzco
An early drive takes you to Machu Picchu, where a guide shows you around this 15th-century Inca site that remained hidden from Spanish colonizers until 1911. You'll return by train to Ollanta or Poroy, then continue back to Cuzco.

Cuzco

Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado
You'll transfer to Cuzco Airport for a domestic flight to Puerto Maldonado. From there, it's a transfer to your jungle lodge, which sits in an area with lots of wildlife viewing opportunities right from the start.

Puerto Maldonado

Puerto Maldonado to Lima
You'll drive to Puerto Maldonado and catch a flight back to Lima, wrapping up your time in Peru. It's the final leg after two weeks experiencing the country's diversity, from cities to mountains to jungle.
