How much cash would you recommend I bring on this trip?

I'd also like to take part in the other activities, such as ice fishing, snowshow hiking and snowmobile tour, can those be paid with card or must they be paid with cash? How much are they?

    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten January 2026

Clothes will be provided in Abisko, you will need to bring the under layers for that and bring warm clothes for stockholm!

    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten January 2026

Regarding money wise, something between 400-1000 would be recommended if you wanna include activities! You will need to book the actiivities directly. In this case, you will receive an email with all the information you will need for your trip and the link were you can book extras!

Can we be able to extend our stay in Abisko couple more days? Can you configure a all inclusive package for 2 of us round trip from LAX. We are taking this trip only to catch Northern Lights, Is 1st week of Feb is good to see the Lights?

    Tour Details
    Travel Support
    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten December 2025

We only have the option to add days in Stockholm, adding extra days in Abisko wouldnt be possible as all the trains are already booked. What you could do, its manage it yourself (extra days in abisko + train back). We don't book flight tickets, all our packages are meet us there. From November to April is a good time to see the northern lights but its not a guarantee!

I'm very excited for the upcoming tour of Abisko and Stockholm. I'm interested in booking some of the optional activities on evening of the 14th and morning of the 15th. Would you please provide help on to where to find these excursions?

    Tour Details
    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten November 2025

After you book your ticket you will have access to a plataform where you're gonna be able to book the extra activities 2 weeks before departure!

      TravelerWritten November 2025

How much do people typically bring on this trip? I'm going to be staying in Stockholm from the 8th to the 23rd and I will have some luggage. I also understand that some warm clothes is provided during the trip. Please advise.

    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten November 2025

Most of them bring a backpack and a carry on max. On the way from the train to the hostel in Abisko there is a small walk of around 10 minutes in the snow so anything bigger might be challenging for you to carry. You will get winter clothes in abisko, but under layers are not included.

If we also have solo joiner, will he be joining others in a room or he need to pay solo joiner surcharge?

    • Yes-TripsOperatorWritten May 2025

In this case we can put it as a request from the start and try to accomodate you in a 3 bed room. For Stockholm thats easy to accomodate but in Abisko - Lapland we only have a 2pax or 6pax room. We can do our best to try to accomodate your request!
