Porto
You'll arrive at Porto airport and get transferred to your hotel. From there, spend the rest of your day walking through the city on your own. The narrow streets pull you deeper into the old quarters, and you'll find yourself in the Ribeira district where the Douro River stretches out below and the Ponte Dom Luis I rises up in front of you. It's a good way to get your bearings and start feeling the rhythm of the place.

The Historical Porto option takes you through Casa da Música, Lello bookshop, and Torre dos Clérigos. Or go with the Porto Castles route if you'd rather head out to Matosinhos beaches. Either way, you finish the day at local wine cellars in Gaia for a Porto wine tasting to understand what makes this region special.
