Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, grab a bite, or wander around the city at your own pace if you're not too tired from travel.

Madrid
After breakfast, a guided half-day tour takes you through Madrid's main plazas and landmarks. You'll see Gran Vía, Paseo de Castellana, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente, and Plaza Mayor before hitting Puerta del Sol. The tour also covers Atocha Station, the Fountain of Neptune, Cibeles Fountain, the Bullring, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. By afternoon you're free to explore more neighborhoods or take it easy.

Madrid to San Sebastian
After breakfast, you'll head toward Zaragoza where you can visit the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar at your own pace. Later in the day, the journey continues to San Sebastian in the Basque country, arriving by evening.

San Sebastian
After breakfast, a panoramic tour covers San Sebastian's coastal highlights. You'll see La Concha Bay, head up to Monte Igeldo viewpoint, check out the Wind Comb sculpture at Torrepea Point, walk along Ondarreta Beach, and visit Miramar Palace and La Concha Beach. The afternoon is open for you to relax or explore on your own.

San Sebastian to Santander
After breakfast, you'll drive to Bilbao for a stop at the Guggenheim Museum. From there you'll head to Castro Urdiales fishing village where you have free time to wander and grab lunch. Later you'll reach Santander to explore the historic center and visit Palacio de la Magdalena, which has really nice panoramic views.

Santander to Oviedo
After breakfast, you're heading to Santillana del Mar, a medieval town where you can see the Collegiate Church of Santa María. Next stop is Covadonga where you'll have time to explore the Sanctuary, Basilica, and the statue of King Pelayo. Then you'll drive to Oviedo to visit the Cathedral of San Salvador.

Oviedo to Santiago de Compostela
After breakfast, you'll enter Galicia and stop in Mondoñedo to see the 12th-century Cathedral and try some local cake. Then it's on to Lugo to walk the well-preserved Roman Walls, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll end the day in Santiago de Compostela, the final destination of the Way of St. James pilgrimage.

Santiago de Compostela
After breakfast, a guided city tour takes you through Santiago de Compostela's key sites. You'll see Plaza del Obradoiro and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, walking through the Portico de la Gloria and viewing Saint James at the main altar, the crypt, and rooftop views. If the timing works out, you might see the botafumeiro ceremony. The afternoon gives you time to discover the city's quieter corners.

Porto to Fatima
After breakfast, you'll travel to Coimbra to see one of Europe's oldest universities, including the Baroque Joanina Library and an 18th-century bell tower. You can also explore Coimbra's connection to fado music. Later you'll head to Fátima, an important Christian pilgrimage destination, to visit the Sanctuary of Fátima and the sacred Cova da Iria.

- Day 13
Fatima to Lisbon
After breakfast, you'll see the Batalha Monastery, a Gothic masterpiece built to commemorate the Portuguese victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota in 1385, and check out the Royal Cloister. From there you'll stop in Nazaré, a coastal village with fishing heritage, then visit Alcobaça to see the Gothic church and 12th-century Cistercian monastery. You'll arrive in Lisbon by evening.

Lisbon

The afternoon is yours to wander through the Alfama neighborhood with its narrow streets and low houses, or visit the National Tile Museum.

After breakfast, you'll depart for Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Spain. You can explore the medieval old town with its magnificent palaces like Golfines de Abajo, Carvajal, and Toledo-Moctezuma. You'll also visit the Co-Cathedral of Santa María with its bell tower offering great views, and see the second-largest cistern in the world. Later you'll head back toward Madrid.
