Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
Your driver picks you up at Noi Bai airport and takes you to your hotel in Hanoi's old quarter. After you check in around 1:00 PM, there's a welcome drink waiting. From there, you have the rest of the afternoon and evening to walk around the old quarter on your own, soak in the local atmosphere, and try some street food.

Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
The day starts early, leaving between 8:00 and 8:30 AM with your driver and guide heading to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital from the 10th century. You'll visit King Dinh and King Le's temples to learn about the history and culture of the area. After a buffet lunch that includes local goat meat, you head to Tam Coc for a boat trip through three caves along the Ngo Dong River with mountains and rice fields surrounding you. Later, there's cycling through the paddy fields and through a local village before returning to Hanoi by 6:30 PM.

- Day 3
Halong Bay Cruise Embarkation
Check out in the morning and leave your luggage at the hotel. Between 8:00 and 8:30 AM you depart for a 4-hour drive to Halong Bay, arriving around 12:45 PM. Board the cruise, get your cabin, and have traditional Vietnamese lunch. The afternoon is for relaxing on deck and taking in the hundreds of mountains. At 3:00 PM you visit Sung Sot cave, then hike Ti Tov Island at 4:00 PM for views and swimming. Back on the boat by 5:15 PM, you'll watch the sunset with fruit and wine. Before dinner at 7:00 PM, join a cooking demonstration for Vietnamese spring rolls, then enjoy evening activities like movies, card games, or squid fishing.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Rise early to catch the sunrise over Halong Bay. Breakfast is at 7:00 AM, then you kayak around the mountains at your own pace. By 9:30 AM you're back on the cruise and checking out. The morning continues with relaxing on the sundeck while the boat cruises back, and brunch happens at 11:00 AM. At 12:30 PM you board the bus for the return to Hanoi, arriving back at your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 PM.

Landmarks Halong Bay - Day 5
Hanoi to Sapa
Check out of your Hanoi hotel and leave your luggage there, bringing only what you need. Between 6:30 and 7:00 AM you board a sleeper bus to Sapa with rest stops along the way, arriving by 12:30 PM. From there you start trekking through the town, terrace fields, and minority villages, walking past rice, corn, and potato fields and visiting a waterfall. Your guide takes you to a local family home where you're welcomed warmly. If you want to participate, you can help prepare dinner by picking vegetables from the garden and cooking local foods together.

- Day 6
Sapa to Hanoi
Start the day early watching the host family begin their morning routine, then join them for breakfast. You have a choice: trek further into more villages and scenery through bamboo forests and terrace fields, or work alongside the family in their fields doing activities like harvesting, planting, or field maintenance. A shuttle bus takes you back to Sapa town by midday. Spend free time at the local market and exploring Sapa on your own before boarding the sleeper bus at 3:30 PM for the return to Hanoi, arriving by 9:30 PM and transferring to your hotel in the Old Quarter.

Later your driver transfers you to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Da Nang. After landing, your driver meets you and takes you to Hoi An, where you check into your hotel.

Hoi An Farming Village and Countryside
Meet your guide at 9:00 or 9:30 AM and cycle to a local farming village through country roads, photographing farmers, fishponds, and water buffalo. If you're interested, you can try riding a buffalo. Continue cycling to a local home where you're welcomed with water and get a foot massage using herbal treatment. From there, head to the boat station and board for a trip through coconut palm-lined waterways where you'll learn and practice traditional Vietnamese fishing techniques with round nets and bamboo boats. Participate in farm work like collecting seaweed fertilizer, sowing, raking, watering, and picking. After lunch, cycle back to your hotel by 1:30 or 2:00 PM, then spend the rest of the day exploring Hoi An's old town.

My Son and Hoi An River Experience
Your driver and guide pick you up between 7:50 and 8:30 AM from your Da Nang hotel and head to My Son, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. At 9:00 AM you explore the ancient Holy Land of the Champa Kingdom with its mysterious old towers. Watch a traditional Cham dance performance by professional dancers. At 11:00 AM you visit a local house to learn how to make rice paper, a traditional craft of the region, and taste what you made. Return to Hoi An by 11:30 AM for lunch and a rest at a restaurant. At 12:30 PM, board a boat on the Thu Bon River to see the scenic beauty of Central Vietnam's biggest river, returning to your hotel by 1:30 PM.

Your driver picks you up and transfers you to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Landmarks Hoi An Old Town Tan Son Nhat Airport - Day 11
Mekong Delta
Depart between 7:30 and 8:15 AM with your driver and guide heading to My Tho on the left side of the Mekong River. Board a sampan and cruise around four islands called Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Stop at Unicorn Island to walk country lanes, see fruit orchards, taste tropical fruits, and listen to traditional folk songs. Visit a fruit plantation, then take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal to see the countryside, visit a family business, and explore a honey-bee farm with honey tea and coconut candy workshops. Lunch happens at a local restaurant with break time. In the afternoon, either cycle around Tan Thach village to meet locals and experience Mekong Delta life, or relax in a hammock if cycling isn't for you. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by 5:00 PM.
