- Day 1
Departure
You'll head to the airport this morning with everything packed and ready. From there, it's time to board your flight to Buenos Aires. The excitement builds as you settle in for the journey to South America.
- Day 2
Buenos Aires
After landing in Buenos Aires, you'll make your way to the Recoleta district to get oriented. This neighborhood has that European feel with its architecture and wide boulevards. You'll check out El Ateneo Grand Splendid, a gorgeous bookshop worth spending time in, and then find the Floralis Genérica steel flower sculpture nearby.

- Day 3
Buenos Aires
You're heading to La Boca district next, where the houses are painted in bright colors along El Caminito street. Later this evening, you'll take a tango dance class with locals who'll teach you the basics of this passionate dance. Then you'll spend the night dancing and getting a real feel for the Argentinian tango culture.

- Day 4
Buenos Aires
This morning you'll see the iconic obelisk standing on Avenida 9 de Julio. From there, head to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, which won't cost you anything to enter. Later, grab a coffee at Café Tortoni and take some time to walk through Bosques de Palermo Park to unwind.

- Day 5
Buenos Aires to Foz do Iguaçu
You'll take one last look at Buenos Aires before heading to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú. Once you land in Foz do Iguaçu on the Brazilian side, check into your hotel. If you're not too tired, explore some local bars and try the coconut mocktails that are popular here.

- Day 6
Iguazú Falls
Today is all about Iguazú Falls. You'll join a guided tour through the national park trails where you'll walk right up to the thundering waterfalls. The jungle surrounding the cascades is thick with wildlife and plants, and the sheer power of the water is something you won't forget.

- Day 7
Iguazú National Park
Back in Iguazú National Park, you'll choose which route to take through the jungle. You might spot colorful birds and other wildlife along the trails and see more of the waterfalls and the river delta. If you want to get even closer to the action, there's an optional boat tour that takes you right into the jungle.

- Day 8
Foz do Iguaçu to Rio de Janeiro
You'll fly to Rio de Janeiro and settle into your accommodation. Once you've dropped your bags, head over to Copacabana beach. Spend some time walking along the sand, watching the street vendors and people, and getting a feel for the city's beach culture.

- Day 9
Rio de Janeiro
This morning you'll take the gondola up Sugarloaf Mountain for views across Rio and the surrounding coast. Later, make your way to Cristo Redentor statue at Corcovado for more incredible vistas from high above the city. Before heading back, visit the Catedral de São Sebastião with its colorful stained glass windows.

Rio de Janeiro
You'll walk through Rocinha with a local guide who actually grew up here. They'll show you around the neighborhood and share stories about what daily life is like. You'll learn how Rocinha transformed from an illegal settlement into an officially recognized district, and get a real perspective on the community.

- Day 11
Rio de Janeiro
Head to Jardim Botânico, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that covers 140 hectares with an incredible range of plants and animals. You'll spot monkeys and hummingbirds if you're lucky. After that, wander through Santa Teresa, a bohemian neighborhood with character and vintage shops, and don't miss the famous Escadaria Selarón with its colorful tile steps.

Rio de Janeiro
You have the day to relax at either Copacabana or Ipanema beach. Swim in the turquoise water, lay on the white sand, or try surfing if you're feeling adventurous. Grab a caipirinha at one of the beach bars and soak in the atmosphere without any rush.

Departure from Rio de Janeiro
It's time to leave Rio de Janeiro. You'll spend some time reflecting on everything you've experienced from the waterfalls to the jungle trails, the city landmarks, and all those moments on the beach before heading to the airport.

Arrival
You'll arrive back home and have plenty of time to think through everything you saw and did. From the power of the waterfalls to the jungle hikes, the city landmarks, and the beach vibes, there's a lot to process and share about your South America adventure.
