Itinerary

Rome
You'll arrive in Rome with the afternoon and evening to settle in at your own pace. An optional private transfer from the airport is available if you want it. Spend your time walking around the historic streets, grabbing dinner at local spots, and getting a feel for the city. There's no set schedule, so you can take it easy after your travel day or start exploring right away depending on what you prefer.

Rome
This morning hits the major sights, starting with Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, then heading to Trevi Fountain. After that you'll have free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, you'll tour the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Head back to your hotel independently by evening, so you can take your time and grab dinner wherever you like.

Rome
The whole day is yours to shape however you want. Wander around Rome's neighborhoods, duck into a café for coffee or lunch, and check out the streets and squares that catch your eye. This is your chance to find the places that don't make it into the main tourist guides and create your own version of what Rome means to you.

Rome to Vico Equense
Your hotel arranges a private transfer to Rome Termini Station where you'll board a high-speed train to Naples. Once you arrive, a driver picks you up and takes you through the scenic Sorrentine Peninsula. You'll have about 2 hours on your own in Pompeii (guided tours are available for an extra cost if you want one). After that, continue to Vico Equense for the evening where you can explore the coastal town independently.

Amalfi Coast
You'll drive along the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast on a guided tour, stopping in Positano first to see the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta and explore the colorful streets and shops. Next is Amalfi to visit the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea. Then you'll head to Ravello to check out its cultural sites and views overlooking the coast. By late afternoon you'll be back in Sorrento with free time to walk around before returning to your hotel.

Today's entirely up to you based on what interests you. Options include taking a boat trip along the Amalfi Coast from the water, going out to the Isle of Capri, visiting Paestum to see ancient ruins and tour a mozzarella cheese producer, or heading into Naples. You can book a specific optional tour now or wait and decide once you're in Vico Equense, depending on your mood and energy level.
