Itinerary
- Day 1
Kelowna - Revelstoke
You'll start at Bridal Falls waterfall and get a sense of the landscape right away. After that, there's a coffee stop in Merrit to stretch your legs. Kelowna comes next where you can see how the town balances natural scenery with its wine industry. Grizzli Winery is worth checking out for its architecture and the lake views it offers. High Ridge Lookout gives you a different perspective before you head through Three Valley Gap's terrain. By the time you reach Revelstoke, you'll be surrounded by three mountain ranges - the Purcell, Rocky, and Selkirk all come together in this area.

Revelstoke to Banff
Starting with Rogers Pass Memorial, you'll drive through National Historic Site grounds with alpine scenery on both sides. The Golden Skybridge lets you walk through the treetops and see the Kootenay wilderness from above. Johnston Canyon offers one of Banff's easier hiking options if you want to get out and move around. Lake Louise appears with its distinctive blue-green glacial water, and the Fairmont Chateau sits right there on the shore. Finish the day by taking the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for views across the Canadian Rockies from the summit.

- Day 3
Banff to Jasper
Leaving Banff, you'll pass Crowfoot Glacier at its viewpoint, where the shape actually does resemble a crow's foot. Bow Lake Viewpoint shows turquoise water with the Rockies reflected in it. Waterfowl Lake and Big Bend Peak at 2,804 meters appear as you continue south. The Columbia Icefield Skywalk is a one-kilometre walk that includes views of fossils and glaciers below. You'll have chances to spot wildlife at Goats and Glacier Lookout, then Athabasca Falls comes into view with its raw power. Jasper sits at the end of this drive, positioned in the Rockies and offering a quieter mountain town feel.

- Day 4
Jasper to Sun Peaks
You'll head out from Jasper with Moose Lake as an early stop where things feel calm and connected to nature. Valemount is a small mountain town worth a quick look around. Kethan's Viewpoint gives you panoramic views of both mountains and valleys. The drive itself becomes part of the experience with winding roads showing new scenery around each turn. Sun Peaks Resort appears ahead as a mountain destination with skiing in winter and hiking in summer. The village itself has that mountain town character with amenities and restaurants throughout.

From Sun Peaks, you'll head toward Kamloops and stop at Kamloops Lake View Point for views of the water. Railroad Tunnel Viewpoint shows historic tunnel structures in the landscape. Seton Lake Lookout and Duffey Lake Viewpoint keep the scenery varied as you continue south. Green Lake Viewpoint offers reflective water views before you reach Whistler. This resort town sits ready for outdoor activities year-round, with skiing possibilities in winter and mountain biking during warmer months. It's a place where winter and summer sports both draw crowds.

- Day 6
Whistler to Vancouver
Heading south from Whistler, Brandywine Falls Provincial Park shows you a waterfall dropping into a forested canyon. Tantalus Lookout provides wide views of the Tantalus Mountain Range. Shannon Falls Provincial Park comes next with another waterfall falling from significant height. Porteau Cove Provincial Park shifts the view to coastal landscape and calmer waters. Horseshoe Bay appears as a coastal village, and then you cross the Lions Gate Bridge with city and mountain views in both directions. Vancouver sits at the end as a diverse city with cultural spots, parks, and plenty of urban energy throughout.
