Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Marrakesh

    A private driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in Marrakesh. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore. Head to Jemaa el-Fna Square to try street food and see the local entertainment, or if you want something more peaceful, wander through the Majorelle Botanical Gardens where there are over 300 plant and flower species to see.

  2. Day 2

    Marrakesh

    Start with a four-hour bicycle tour through Marrakesh alongside a local student guide who'll show you the Koutoubia Mosque and take you through spots most tourists miss. In the afternoon, visit the Amal Center to learn about their job training work with disadvantaged Moroccan women (and if it's Friday, they have a special couscous event). Wrap up with dinner at a local restaurant or head back to your hotel to relax.

    • Bicycle tour of Marrakesh on a pikala (bicycle) with local student guide - four hours
    • Visit to Koutoubia Mosque and off-the-beaten-path local spots
    • Visit to Amal Center nonprofit training facility - two hours

  3. Day 3

    Marrakesh to Agadir

    A three-hour transfer gets you from Marrakesh to Agadir and the Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge. The afternoon opens up for exploring Agadir's beaches and watching surfers, checking out Agadir Birds Valley wildlife park for some shade and birdwatching, and touring Kasbah Agadir Oufella, a 16th-century former palace. Later, head back to the lodge to rest and see what else is available there.

    Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge

    Your day at the Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge gives you lots of choices. Take pottery, honey-tasting, or Arabic calligraphy classes, or try yoga and swimming in the saltwater pool. The spa is available, and you can wander the organic garden. Outside the lodge, go bird-watching or hiking in the Atlas mountains, take a horseback or mule tour, fish on the Atlantic coast, or surf at nearby Taghazout. End the evening stargazing through the lodge's telescopes.

For outdoor activities, choose bird-watching, mountain hikes, horseback or mule rides, Atlantic coast fishing, or surfing at Taghazout. Stop by the medicinal garden during the day and stargaze in the evening.

    Agadir to Essaouira

    A three-hour private transfer takes you from Agadir to Essaouira, and you'll see bright blue ocean views the whole way. Check into L'Âne Vert ecolodge just outside the city near a beach. Walk through Essaouira's 75-acre medina where you'll find traditional souks selling ceramics, spices, art, leather, jewelry, and rugs. Visit Mulay El-Hassan Square for more shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, relax at the lodge with locally-sourced food, or try yoga or a surf lesson with a local instructor.

    Essaouira

    Visit the Argania Association, a nonprofit from 1996 that works with children, young people, women, and people with disabilities. Tour the facility and meet the staff and people they support. After that, explore Essaouira's medina with a private local guide who'll tell you about the city's Berber, Phoenician, Roman, and Portuguese history. Head to the Spice Souk for herbal medicines, Berber lipstick, spices, argan oil, and amlou. Finish with a walk along Essaouira Beach.

    Essaouira to Marrakesh

    A three-hour transfer takes you back to Marrakesh through rolling plains and argan tree forests (you might see goats eating fruit in the argan trees). Check in and spend the afternoon exploring Marrakesh's history. See Bahia Palace from the mid-1800s with its 150 rooms, gardens, and detailed carved stucco and cedar. Check out the 16th-century Koran school Medersa Ben Youssef and the Marrakesh Museum in Dar Mnebbi Palace. End the evening at Jemaa el-Fna Square for dinner and entertainment.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
