- Day 1
Murren
You'll arrive in Murren and check into Hotel Edelweiss. Since you're adjusting to the altitude, this day is meant for settling in and resting. There are optional walks available if you're feeling up to it, but the pace is entirely up to you and how your body feels at this elevation.

- Day 2
Murren to Griesalp
Start climbing steadily from Murren toward Rotstockhutte, where you'll have lunch surrounded by mountains. After eating, continue over the steep Sefinenfurgge pass and then work your way down through a scree section into Griesalp valley. It's a full day of hiking with real elevation changes.

Griesalp to Kandersteg
This is the most challenging day of your trip. You'll be climbing almost the entire way to reach Hohturli pass at 1,370m with views that make the effort worthwhile. From there, you descend steeply past glaciers down toward Lake Oeschinensee. A cable car operation at the lake means you can skip the final steep 1-mile descent if your legs need a break.

- Day 4
Kandersteg
You have the full day to yourself in Kandersteg. Rest at Hotel Blumlisalp if you need recovery time, or explore the village on your own schedule. It's a chance to recharge before heading back out on the trail.

Landmarks Kandersteg - Day 5
Kandersteg to Adelboden
This day is less demanding than previous ones. You'll take the Allmenalp cable car to start, which saves energy early on. From there, walk toward Bunderchrinde, drop down to the valley, and then climb up to the village of Adelboden. It's a gentler day overall.

Adelboden to Lenk
Much of your walking today follows streams through forested areas, then opens up onto well-maintained alpine pastures. The terrain is easier underfoot, and you'll move through scenic meadows between valleys with snow-capped peaks visible throughout the day.

Landmarks Lenk - Day 7
Lenk to Gstaad
Climb out of Lenk toward Truttlisbergpass as views get better the higher you go. Cross over the pass to reach Lauenen, then descend through a scenic gorge into Gstaad. If the final valley descent feels like too much, you can catch the bus at Lauenen instead.

Departure
