Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Kathmandu airport where your trekking company representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to rest or walk around the city at your own pace. It's a good opportunity to get oriented and grab some local food if you're not too tired from travel.

Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
An early morning flight takes you to Lukla, then your trek to Phakding begins. You'll follow the Dudh Koshi river through small villages and lush forests along an 8km trail that takes about 3 to 4 hours. The scenery starts to build your excitement for what's ahead over the coming weeks.

Landmarks Dudh Koshi River - Day 3
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Today you're trekking to Namche Bazaar, the main hub of the Khumbu region. You'll cross several suspension bridges and work up steep trails over a 12km distance covering roughly 6 to 7 hours. This bustling trading town becomes your base, and the physical effort really starts to show you what this trek involves.

Landmarks Namche Bazaar - Day 4
Namche Bazaar
You'll spend this day resting and letting your body adjust to the altitude. Walk around town and visit the Sherpa museum to learn about the local culture and people who live here. If you're feeling energetic, an optional hike to Everest View Hotel gives you great views of Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks.

Landmarks Mount Everest Everest View Hotel - Day 5
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
The trek to Tengboche takes you through beautiful trails with spectacular mountain views including Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You'll cover 10km over approximately 5 to 6 hours to reach this village known for its monastery. The landscape here really opens up with the big peaks becoming clearer.

Landmarks Tengboche Monastery Mount Everest Lhotse Ama Dablam - Day 6
Tengboche to Dingboche
Today you're heading to Dingboche at 4,410 meters elevation. The 11km trek takes about 5 to 6 hours and passes through rhododendron forests with views of surrounding peaks. You'll notice the air getting thinner and the landscape becoming more alpine as you climb.

Dingboche
Another rest day to help your body adapt to the altitude. Explore Dingboche or hike up to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views of the Himalayan range and the surrounding landscape. Taking these acclimatization days seriously makes a real difference for the higher elevations coming up.

Landmarks Nagarjun Hill - Day 8
Dingboche to Lobuche
You're trekking to Lobuche at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. This 7km trek takes about 5 to 6 hours and passes through the glacier's terminal moraine with great views of the surrounding peaks. The terrain becomes rockier and more barren as you approach higher elevations.

Landmarks Khumbu Glacier - Day 9
Lobuche to Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp
After reaching Gorak Shep, you'll hike to Everest Base Camp itself, a 15km trek covering approximately 7 to 8 hours total. The trail passes through the Khumbu Icefall area with stunning views of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks. This is the moment many people come for, standing at the base of the world's highest mountain.

- Day 10
Gorak Shep to High Camp
You're trekking to High Camp where you'll overnight before the Lobuche Peak summit attempt tomorrow. The steep and challenging trail requires crampons and ropes in some sections. It's a short distance but physically demanding as you prepare for the summit push.

High Camp to Lobuche Peak Summit to Thukla
Summit day for Lobuche Peak starts very early. You'll climb steep trails to reach the summit, take in the views from the top, then descend back to Thukla. This full day takes approximately 10 to 12 hours of climbing and is one of the most physically demanding days on the trek.

Thukla to Namche Bazaar
You're making your way back down to Namche Bazaar, passing through Dingboche and Tengboche along the way. The 7 to 8 hour journey offers great views of the Himalayas and passes through the beautiful villages you saw on the way up. Descending feels easier on the legs even though the distance is substantial.

Landmarks Tengboche Monastery - Day 13
Namche Bazaar to Lukla
The trek down to Lukla involves steep rocky paths and crossings over suspension bridges spanning the rapid Dudh Koshi river and its tributaries. As you descend, the trails flatten out and become easier on your knees. You'll have time to reflect on everything you've experienced over these past weeks in the mountains.

Lukla to Kathmandu
From Lukla, you'll fly back to Kathmandu where your company representative meets you for the hotel transfer. The rest of the day is open for exploring Kathmandu or shopping for souvenirs and gifts. After weeks in the mountains, the bustle of the city feels quite different.

Kathmandu
Your trek adventure concludes today. Your company representative will pick you up approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight to the airport. Take this time to reflect on the mountain experiences and memories from your time trekking in Nepal.
