Itinerary
- Day 1
Belfast to Portrush
Head north from Belfast along the Causeway Coastal Route with stops planned throughout the day. You'll break for lunch in Ballycastle, then walk across the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, which hangs about 100 feet above the water between the mainland and an island. After that, you'll check out the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO site with those distinctive hexagonal basalt columns. There's an option to tour Bushmills Distillery if whiskey interests you. By late afternoon, swing by Dunluce Castle perched on the cliffs before heading into Portrush for the evening, where you can grab dinner and relax by the coast.

- Day 2
Derry - Ulster American Folk Park - Enniskillen
Travel south toward Derry with time to wander the historic walled city on your own or join a guided walking tour if you want more context about the walls and history. Later, head to the Ulster American Folk Park to see how things worked for people emigrating from Ulster to North America back in the 1700s and 1800s. The park has both indoor and outdoor exhibits that show the whole emigration experience. From there, continue to Enniskillen for the evening, where you'll have chances to walk around town and meet locals.

- Day 3
Enniskillen to Hillsborough Castle to Belfast
Start with a free morning in Enniskillen to spend time however you like, whether that's checking out art galleries, seeing the 15th-century castle, or taking a cruise out on Lough Erne. After lunch, head to Hillsborough Castle and walk through the ornamental gardens, woodlands, and glens, which are particularly nice for a stroll. There's an optional tour of the state rooms inside if you want to see the interior. Then drive back to Belfast where the tour ends for the day.
