You'll break for lunch in Ballycastle, then walk across the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, which hangs about 100 feet above the water between the mainland and an island. After that, you'll check out the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO site with those distinctive hexagonal basalt columns. There's an option to tour Bushmills Distillery if whiskey interests you. By late afternoon, swing by Dunluce Castle perched on the cliffs before heading into Portrush for the evening, where you can grab dinner and relax by the coast.

Later, head to the Ulster American Folk Park to see how things worked for people emigrating from Ulster to North America back in the 1700s and 1800s. The park has both indoor and outdoor exhibits that show the whole emigration experience. From there, continue to Enniskillen for the evening, where you'll have chances to walk around town and meet locals.

This tour was grand! Our guide, Marcus, was thoughtful, engaging, and knowledgeable of Irish language, culture and history. A great source for local sightseeing and spot on with recommendations for food and entertainment. Margaret, the host of my bed&breakfast could not have been more accomodating and my room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the dining room was very pleasant. As for the tour of the Irish coast and countryside it could not have been more beautiful, made even more spectacular with the very fine weather. Especially on our visit to the cliffs at Slieve League. I hope to join you for a future tour to see more of the enchanting emerald isle.
