Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin to Belfast to Bangor
You'll leave Dublin in the early morning and drive north through the Irish countryside toward Belfast. Once there, take time to walk through the city and learn about its history and culture at your own pace. The Titanic Quarter is worth exploring on your own, then you'll head to Mount Stewart Estate and Gardens in County Down. From there, continue on to Bangor, a seaside town where you'll spend the night. The whole drive takes you through some nice rural scenery before reaching the coast.

- Day 2
Giant's Causeway - Bangor
Start early and drive north along the Causeway Coastal Route, which is one of the more scenic drives in the area. You'll stop in Glenarm and Ballycastle to break up the journey. The main stop is the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO site where you can explore the unusual hexagonal basalt columns and hear about the local legends connected to them. If time allows, there's the Dark Hedges, a tree-lined road known from Game of Thrones filming. Later in the day, head back to Bangor where you'll have the evening free to relax.

- Day 3
Strangford Lough - Castle Ward - Dublin
This morning, drive along the Ards Peninsula and make your way to Portaferry to catch a ferry across Strangford Lough. The crossing itself is pretty nice and gives you water views. Once across, visit Castle Ward, an 18th-century estate that was used as Winterfell in Game of Thrones. Depending on your interests, you might stop at Down Cathedral or St. Patrick's Centre as well. After that, you'll drive through the Mourne Mountains on your way back to Dublin, finishing the trip with scenic mountain views.
