I recently had the opportunity to go on an 8-day tour of the Taj Mahal with a stop in Nepal for some wildlife viewing. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget. First and foremost, the Taj Mahal itself was absolutely breathtaking. The white marble structure, intricate carvings, and stunning gardens were even more beautiful in person than in pictures. Our tour guide Mr.Hemender Singh was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough history of the monument, making our visit even more meaningful. After spending a day at the Taj Mahal, we headed to Nepal for some wildlife viewing. We visited Chitwan National Park, home to a diverse range of animals including tigers, rhinos, and elephants. We went on a jeep safari and were lucky enough to spot a tiger in the wild. It was a surreal experience and one that I will never forget. Our accommodations in Nepal were also top-notch. We stayed at a beautiful resort in the middle of the jungle, complete with luxurious tents and delicious local cuisine. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to the elephant breeding center. We got to interact with baby elephants and learn about the efforts being made to protect and conserve these gentle giants. It was heartwarming to see the love and care given to these animals. Overall, the 8-day tour was a perfect combination of cultural and wildlife experiences. The organization of the tour was seamless, and our tour guide was attentive to our needs and preferences. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Taj Mahal and the wildlife of Nepal. One thing to note is that the tour does involve a fair amount of walking and some rough terrain, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Other than that, I have no complaints about this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat. In conclusion, the 8-day Taj Mahal tour with Nepal wildlife was an unforgettable journey filled with stunning sights, cultural immersion, and unique experiences.   We think maybe skip Dalhousie and reduce Manali to one day. In Manali we want to see the Hidimbadev temple, Bahist Temple, Solang Valley, Naggar Castle, Rohtang Pass and Kothi, Rahala water showers. Skip the shopping and the art gallery. Can we also see the Wagah border ceremony in the evening we are in Amritsar? Also we wanted to visit the Taj Mahal too would it be possible to add this in to the tour maybe at the end?

  We were also thinking of maybe going to see the Ranthambore National Park at the end of the trip if possible as I think it's not too far? Maybe we can stay somewhere near there and finish the tour at Jaipur airport?

  My mother is still pretty young so she's ok to travel, I think we want to keep the total tour under 8 days, because we don't have that much time.
