Itinerary
- Day 1
Amman
You'll arrive at Amman airport and get transferred to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the capital however you like. It's a good chance to walk around and get a feel for the city without any scheduled activities.

Bethany
Head out to As-Salt, a hilltop town known for its yellow limestone Islamic architecture. You'll walk around and learn about religious harmony in the area, then have lunch with a local family to try traditional Jordanian food. Later, drive to Bethany to see the baptism site where John baptized Jesus, including the church and ancient pools.

Jerash
Start the morning with a tour of Amman's history, beginning at the Citadel where you'll see the Temple of Hercules, an old palace, a Byzantine church, and the Roman theatre that's still used today. After that, travel to Jerash to walk through one of the best-preserved Roman sites with its original streets, temples, and public squares.

Amman to Petra
Drive along the scenic King's Highway toward Petra. Stop in Madaba to see the 6th-century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Next, visit Mount Nebo where Moses is thought to be buried, then check out Kerak Castle, a 12th-century fortress with views across the surrounding landscape. You'll arrive in Petra by evening.

- Day 5
Wadi Rum
Spend most of your day exploring Petra with a guide for 2-3 hours through the Siq and to the iconic Khazneh Treasury. After that, you'll have free time to walk through the Roman amphitheater, colonnaded streets, the Monastery, and other sites. Note that you'll walk at least 3km to the Treasury and back, plus more if you explore further. Horse carriages and donkeys are available for rent. Later, drive to Wadi Rum desert and settle into a Bedouin camp.

- Day 6
Dead Sea
Start early with a jeep safari through Wadi Rum's rugged desert and copper-colored rock formations. In the morning, head toward the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at 400 meters below sea level. Float in the salty waters or just relax at the shore, then return to your hotel in Amman for the night.

Cairo
After arriving at Cairo airport, you'll be greeted and helped through visa and luggage. Staff will transfer you to your hotel in central Cairo and help you get settled. The afternoon and evening are free to explore on your own, with optional activities available like a Nile dinner cruise or a sound and light show at the pyramids.

- Day 8
Giza - Luxor
Begin at the Great Pyramids of Giza built around 2500 BC. An Egyptologist guide will walk you through Egyptian history and explain how the pyramids were constructed. If you're interested, you can go inside one of the pyramids. You'll also see the Sphinx, fully uncovered in the 1920s. Later, drive south along the Nile through local towns to reach Luxor by evening.

- Day 9
Aswan
In the morning, you have the choice to relax at your hotel or take an optional tour to the Luxor Museum with ancient Egyptian artifacts from various periods. Continue driving south along the Nile to Aswan, where you'll stay in a locally run Nubian guesthouse. In the evening, walk through the colorful Nubian houses and have a typical Nubian meal.

- Day 10
Philae - Felucca
Early in the morning, you can drive about three hours to Abu Simbel, a UNESCO site on Lake Nasser with temples built by Ramses II that were moved when the lake flooded. Or spend time in Aswan exploring the markets, walking along the Corniche, or visiting the Nubian Museum. Later that day, take a boat to the Temple of Philae dedicated to Isis. Board a traditional felucca sailboat with a support boat for facilities, and sleep on deck with provided mattresses, blankets, and mosquito nets.

- Day 11
Felucca to Luxor
Sail on the Nile through the morning and have lunch with the felucca crew before sailing back to Luxor. This area holds the largest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, split between the West Bank and East Bank. By evening, you can take an optional tour to see Luxor Temple lit up, or check out local outdoor cafes, play backgammon, and try shisha with locals. You'll stay at a 4-star hotel on the Nile banks.

- Day 12
Luxor West Bank
Tour the West Bank of the Nile, visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, several tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and Deir El-Medina where workers lived while building these monuments. You'll also see the Colossi of Memnon. The afternoon is free to relax at your hotel or take an optional tour to the massive Karnak temple complex. A hot air balloon flight over the West Bank is available as an optional activity if you're willing to start early for sunrise.

- Day 13
Luxor to Cairo
Leave Luxor and drive back to Cairo, stopping at Dendara and Abydos temples along the way. Dendara, built for the goddess Hathor, is particularly well preserved and impressive. Abydos was the cult center of Osiris and contains remains of ten original temples from its time as both a pilgrimage site and burial place. You'll arrive in Cairo by evening and check into your hotel in the city center.

Cairo
Explore Cairo, founded in 969 AD and Egypt's main city throughout its history. Visit the Egyptian Museum to see a large collection of ancient artifacts including the famous King Tutankhamun display and post-Pharaonic items. Wander through Khan al Khalili bazaar, a complex market that offers a window to the past and plenty of souvenir options. An optional half-day tour to Memphis, Dashour, and Saqqara is available to learn more about pyramid building and see other ancient sites.

Cairo Departure
You have free time for any last-minute sightseeing or shopping before your airport transfer. The tour operator suggests booking an afternoon or evening flight so you can visit the Egyptian Museum or take a Cairo city tour in the morning. If you'd like, you can arrange extra nights in Cairo to extend your stay.
