I understand that Sinhala and Tamil new year occur on the 13th and 14th of April in Sri Lanka. These are public holidays, so will the tour be hindered in any way?

From the moment he picked us up in Colombo, his warm, professional demeanor and deep knowledge of the country set the tone for an amazing adventure. Keerthe expertly navigated us through a packed itinerary, starting with a Colombo city tour featuring Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple and Independence Square, before heading south to Galle. Along the way, he introduced us to unique experiences like the turtle hatchery and the Madu River cruise, complete with a cinnamon-making demo and a ticklish fish foot massage. His thoughtful planning ensured we hit highlights like Galle Fort, whale watching in Mirissa (where we spotted dolphins and a breaching whale), and the scenic 9 Arches Bridge in Ella. He was a steady presence on the winding roads to Ella, Nuwara Eliya, and Kandy, sharing insights about tea plantations, British-era architecture, and local culture. Keerthe’s flexibility shone through when he arranged a train ride over the 9 Arches Bridge, coordinated a tuk-tuk trip to Ambuluwawa Tower, and guided us through the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple in Kandy. His passion for Sri Lanka’s history was evident at Sigiriya Rock, where he explained the ancient palace ruins, and at Dambulla Cave Temple. Beyond his knowledge, Keerthe was patient, accommodating, and attentive—whether arranging an early-morning safari to see elephant herds or ensuring we had time to rest after long drives. The village tour, with its ox cart ride and home-cooked lunch, was a personal favourite. Over 550km and 15 hours of driving, he kept us safe and comfortable. One small suggestion: it would have been helpful to have more clarity upfront about the cost to enter each attraction and whether cash or cards were needed, as this varied from the original tour guidance and caught us off guard a few times.   On arrival day there is no much sights to be cover, only Colombo highlights to be covered. If you could arrive bit earlier it would be better, but still we can arrange the things as per the 03.00pm arrival time and on arrival day we will provide Colombo stay, its included on the package, you don't need to book.
